  • Black Ops 2 - Zombie Mode to be Revealed

Treyarch is pretty much done revealing both their single player and multiplayer modes. Now we just have to wait for the reveal of their final mode which has gotten as popular as the multiplayer mode, yes I am talking about the Zombies mode.

The Zombies mode started out very simple in World at War and in Black Ops it got a major overhaul. Tryarch hasn't been shy about telling us what to expect from the Zombies mode in Black Ops 2, without letting us know too much that is. Based on what they have revealed, the improvement we are expecting to see in Black Ops 2 is HUGE.

On the 25th of August a very simple tweet was posted on the official Black Ops 2 Twitter page which quite clearly hints at the upcoming reveal. This is what it read, "Something's coming...". The tweet was posted along with the picture of a door stained with a bloody handprint. I guess this is a subtle enough hint towards the imminent full reveal of the Zombies mode in Black Ops 2.

This is what we know about the Zombies mode for now. It is going to have its own story mode. It will also have MUCH bigger levels than what we have seen in Black Ops. The biggest of the reveals thus far was the new mode that will allow a total of 8 players (two teams of 4 vs 4) to play together! From what we know for now, the objective of this mode will be to outlast the other team.

Surprisingly, the amount of fans (including me) excited for the new Zombies mode might just be equal to that looking forward to the multiplayer. I guess Treyarch understands that fact which is why they put this much effort overhauling Zombies. I wonder if Treayarch plans a huge reveal at the upcoming PAX West? Either way we can expect the official reveal pretty soon.

COD Black Ops 2 is sure shaping up to be a good one, even though every one of us had their doubts; an old engine, annual release etc. Well I guess we can find out for ourselves when it hits the stores on the 13th of October for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Be sure to keep a check on our site to stay posted on recent news about Black Ops 2.

If you're a huge fan of Zombies you should look into our Evil Imaging. Our Evil Imaging is available for our modded controllers with over 40 different imaging options available!

  • Black Ops 2 -Top 5 Multiplayer Features

Treyarch has repeated time and time again that they are going to make the whole Black Ops 2 experience epic and from what we have seen from GamesCom, they sure did keep their word. In this article I will bring to you what I feel were the top features of Black Ops 2 multiplayer (shown till now).

Class Creation - 10 Point System

Treyarch has completely redefined the create-a-class feature that has remained pretty much standard since the first Modern Warfare. They have implemented a new 10 Point System with which players can now build their class (points are used to equip weapons, equipments etc.). This system removes the restraints of having fixed number of grenades, equipments and weapons, and will essentially allow players to make their very own unique class that suits their playing style.

    Killstreaks replaced by Scorestreaks

Black Ops 2 will also be utilizing Scorestreaks instead of Killstreaks (similar to that seen in Modern Warfare 3). This system will allow players to collect points towards their rewards (care package etc.) in ways other than just killing enemies.

    New Scoresteak Rewards

New killstreak rewards are always fun. To go with the new scorestreak mechanic that they have implemented, Treyarch has provided several new scorestreak rewards that surpass the predecessors. Amongst the reward are

New Predator Missile-basically a scatter bomb which affects a larger area of the map

The Guardian-heat-based weapon which primarily incapacitates targeted enemies but also kills them if they are too slow to avoid it

Mech-a mech which is deployed on the battlefield and can be controlled by the player himself or be left on autopilot to search and kill enemies

    Performance of Weapons

This time around the weapon performance cannot be influenced with perks like Steady Aim, Sleight of Hand and Stopping Power. Instead in order to improve weapon performance players have to utilize the different attachments given e.g. Quickdraw-ergonomic handle for faster aiming. It is a pretty clear concept, attachments improve weapons, perks improve players.

    The Shoutcast

The new Shoutcast feature allows any multiplayer match to be streamed to anyone who would like to watch it. This feature also has an option to allow one to act as the commentator while they watch the game. This might not be a huge feature but still a cool one.

This could be a completely different way how players can interact with each other as well as add a new layer of detail for friends who play together. But most importantly this feature is going to be an asset in pro matches. One can learn a lot by watching pros do their thing.

As I said earlier, there is so much being revealed about Black Ops 2 that it is very hard to some up in one or even ten articles! But these for me are the top features that caught my eye. Keep an eye on our website as we list out more cool things about Black Ops 2 Multiplayer and Zombies mode in our future articles.

Be ready to dominate the competition when Black Ops 2 is released with our modded Xbox controllers.

  • Next-Gen Call of Duty in Development?

    Next-Gen Call of Duty Rumors

I guess there is no stopping the big bad Call of Duty machine. Even before Black Ops 2 is out there are already indications of another installment that will most probably be available for the next-gen consoles. There is no indication whether it will be the very next iteration of CoD but if it is the case then it would mean the next gen consoles are most definitely coming out in 2013.

There are multiple job listings and a resume from Infinity Ward that suggests that the studio's next game will for the next gen-consoles. According to the resume of Andrew Aye, Modern Warfare 3 engineer, Infinity Ward is currently working on an unannounced game which will be a available on PC with DirectX11 support, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The game will also be available on TBA (to be announced) platforms. The TBA platforms as anyone can guess are most definitely the next-gen consoles which have been heavily rumored to support DirectX-11.

This new reveal is not that surprising considering the fact that this isn't the first time we have seen evidence indicating Infinity Ward's next game will be on the next-gen consoles. There was a job listing put up in January which mentioned work on "next-gen technologies".

Currently available listings on Infinity Ward's official site show that the studio is currently looking for a Senior Technical VFX artist "[who can] raise the bar for visual effects on current and next generation hardware” and a Senior Engineer "[to] implement gameplay systems and features for an exciting unannounced next generation console title."

For now IW has been busy creating downloadable content for Modern Warfare 3 and is currently working on DLC that is supposed to be launched in September. So what do you think gamers - is it MW 4? Do you think they will be revealing what they are working in the upcoming Gamescom?

If you're a fan of Evil and Call of Duty then you must have our Master Mod. Our Master Mod is the only modded controllers with 20+ mods. Mods designed for some of the following games:

  • Spec Ops: The Line - Multiplayer Gameplay

Spec Ops: The Line - Online Multiplayer Details

Today we will be taking a look at the multiplayer aspect of Spec Ops: The Line. Nowadays almost all games have to have some sort of multiplayer especially if it is a first person or third person shooter.

Mutliplayer components these days are mainly used to increase the value of the game itself. They not only increase the allure of the games but also significantly increase the length of the game. Sadly, sometimes they are just sloppily made and do nothing more than frustrate players. I will just present you with my opinion of the multiplayer and whether it is good or not, you can be the judge of that.

First of all, they have added a lot of customization ability to the game, perks and weapons that can be unlocked by gaining more experience and reaching higher levels; pretty much a standard protocol in most shooters nowadays. You also have various customizations such as armor and kits.

Something new they have incorporated is the environmental effects which I fancied. Sandstorms can hit at anytime leaving you pretty much blind and vulnerable to enemies. At those times you have to rely on stealth and be extra observant to detect enemy locations from things such as muzzle flashes.

Players also have different classes to choose from that give off different area of effect auras. That adds another layer of strategy in which you decide the right combinations of classes that you want for your team. Since the range of these buffs is limited to certain distance it also encourages more team based gameplay.

Another cool thing is the ability to hurl rocks that will be perceived by enemies as grenades. This sort of faking is not only a cool way of highlighting the desert location, but is also an effective method in forcing your enemies out of cover.

Still, to me the whole essence of a game such as this is the gun combat. This feature if not up to par is a definite deal breaker for me. Fortunately, from the gameplay demo that I tagged below you can see that the guns do feel solid. Be sure to check out the demo below to get an idea for yourself.

All in all, even though this is nothing revolutionary, they did try and add previously unseen elements and the resulting multiplayer does seem like a pretty sound component which will definitely be a plus to have along with the core campaign.

Spec Ops: The Line - Multiplayer

Don't forget to order a modded controller from us. All of our rapid fire controllers come with 10 preset rapid fire speeds compatible with Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and over a dozen other titles. • Black Ops 2: Zombies Details

    Black Ops 2: Zombies!

All right, now let take a look into Zombies! Treyarch has officially confirmed that Zombies will make a comeback and it is going to be bigger and better than ever.

First of all, Zombies will have more game modes aside from the standard round modes that we have seen in World at War and Black Ops. There also going to be specific tasks and objectives to complete in these levels this time around.

Speaking of levels, this is one area where Zombies is getting a major overhaul. They are creating whole new worlds for zombies, massive ones. According to Mark, the whole Treyarch team has put a lot of effort and imagination into Zombies which allowed them to achieve amazing things. Mark exclaimed that Zombies is going to be like a separate game on its own which was originally intended to be shipped along with Black Ops 2.

Finally the big reveal was that Zombies will now be incorporated into the multiplayer engine from the single player engine! Yes, this is exactly why they could make such massive improvements to Zombies. The multiplayer engine will allow more processing power and room to work with which translates to more game modes, twice the number of zombies and twice the number of co-op players (keep reading).

Not only that, the multiplayer engine also opens up a world of new possibilities. There is one speculation that the maps available for the multiplayer will also be available for Zombies. Least of all, you won't have to worry about someone quitting and forcing you to restart the game. This was a huge issue in Black Ops, at least for me.

Okay coming back to more players. It has officially been announced that a total of up to 8 players will be able to play Zombies together! Not only can you play together, you also get to play as two teams of players (4 vs 4), with zombies in the middle! WHAT?! This opens up so many more possibilities for new gameplay experiences!

If you're a huge fan of Zombies for Black Ops, you may like to know that we have two products that are specifically up your alley. The first is the controller shown above. Our Zombie print, that is available here, but we also have 2 modded controllers that come equipped with our Auto Aim feature. These would include our Master Mod and Stealth Adjustable with MW3/BF3 Features.

Auto Aim allows you to snap from one Zombie to another while you hold right trigger and fire away. With Auto Aim, zombies don't stand a chance.

  • Black Ops 2: Story & Campaign Details

Black Ops 2 is getting close to its launch date, 13th November 2012, and this time around Treyarch is pulling all the stops! The game has already broken pre-order records and has surpassed pre-order records for Modern Warfare 3 by 30% according to Wow!

It is obvious that the same old engine is not stopping anyone from getting their hands on this installment. Well, we had been hearing news of all the new gameplay elements that they planned on putting in this game but, this E3 we finally got to see a sneak peak of it.

I was really impressed with the single player campaign in Black Ops and this time they plan on making it bigger and better. The story is a direct continuation from Black Ops and is going to be split into two eras - the cold war in the 1980's and the cold war in the near future of 2025. We will be taking the role of Alex Mason during the 1980's and as his son in 2025.

The cool thing about the split time frame is that we will actually get to see the rise of the main villain, how he was in the 1980s, and how the decisions made back in the past have a repercussion on the future, 2025.

For the first time in the history of the franchise we will be seeing the incorporation of player choices in the franchise. For example in the E3 demo (link below), at the bridge you have a choice to either repel down and assist your team in taking out the enemy or provide sniper cover. Choices such as this will be littered throughout the campaign.

The other cool thing they have incorporated is a series of sandbox missions called Strike Force. These missions can be played in a variety of ways. You can play the whole thing from the Overwatch mode which will allow you to control ground troops, vehicles and planes. So basically if you want you can play those missions completely as an RTS game!

You can also take control of a member of any team and play it like the standard objective based mission like in any other cod game. You can even set up everything from the Overwatch mode and then take control of different vehicles, planes and teams to accomplish your objective.

Cooler still is the fact that you cannot replay these missions whether you succeed or fail. The story will continue on based on your actions. You will have different "Hot Spots" to choose from in the Strike Force. The missions you don't select to play will also be blocked and the fiction will continue on with those missions you selected. So, in the end based on what each player chooses, he/she will essentially have a different scenario unfold in front of them.

Adding to all this, the fact that we get to actually control vehicles for the first time ever in the COD franchise, it is no surprise that the pre-orders are blowing through the roof. This game is well on its way to breaking another day one sales record.

But, we all know the main influence behind sales behind this franchise is the multiplayer component. Keep an eye out for the follow up articles where we collect all info currently available for the multiplayer and zombies. Till then check out the Black Ops 2 gameplay Demo.

If you weren't at E3 2012 this year then you probably missed the 140 foot wide trailer, but don't worry we got you covered:

The resolution on this trailer was 6336x720. Pretty intense and definitely had people stopping in their tracks to check it out.

Think the trailer is widescreen enough?

See some new Black Ops 2 footage by clicking here:

This footage was released on June 4th at Microsoft's E3 2012 Press Conference and places emphasis on the varied gameplay that will be available throughout the campaign mode.

With the inclusion of 2 new vehicle weapon systems and an sniper rifle that can shoot enemies through cover there is a lot more to do than simply running down a single path and taking out enemy forces.

Black Ops 2 puts the player in a continuing timeline from Black Ops 1, but also jumps into the future allowing the developers to make interesting gameplay elements with brand new future weapons. It will be interesting to see how those future weapons will play out in competitive setting like classic Free For All over Xbox Live. A weapon that can shoot through cover could definitely become over powered.

If you own Black Ops 1, but don't own our newest mods be sure to check them out. Our Stealth Adjustable with MW3/BF3 functions has all of the mods you'll ever need to destroy your competition. It includes the following mods compatible with Black Ops:

  • A 'New' Nintendo Controller

Nintendo has just revealed alot of information on their new console the Wii U, but they have also revealed a new way to play on their console. While it isn't a real 'new way' to play it's definitely a new direction for the Wii. With the Wii U being in a prime spot to receive ports of 360 and PS3 games there hasn't really been a comfortable way to play hardcore games like Call of Duty or other beloved shooters. Thus Nintendo is releasing their Pro controller that looks very similar to an Xbox controller.

With this controller you can expect Evil will be there to modify them if that's something our fans would like. The new controller has swapped the positions of the 360's ABXY buttons with their right thumbstick.

Is this a design that hardcore gamers will appreciate? Or is it simply too late for Nintendo to appease their hardcore fan base? With more information on the way it'll be interesting to see what controller developers prefer most. For those gamers that love their wii-motes those will still be compatible on the Wii U as well. So definitely let us know if you would like to see modded controllers for the Wii U.

  • Gaming Controllers

Gaming Controllers, Which Console Design is #1?

No doubt over the years we have seen companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo as the frontrunners in gaming, change their controllers or make new ones to help feed this era of technology driven individuals. After stumbling upon an article about which controller is the best, it came down to the Xbox 360 controller and the PS3 controller.

Over many years of trying to remodel their controllers, I do sincerely agree that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 controllers are the best that the market has to offer as of late. Which one is better, is only going to be a matter of preference. However, we have a new wave of controllers being launched onto the market. Let's take the Playstation Move and the Kinect for example, while they are revolutionary controllers to say the least, I have yet to see the real draw to them. I have played many games using the Kinect, not that there are a ton out there. None of them seem to really put the Kinect to the test. That being said, I think the article I was reading brought up an interesting point, "Are hardware manufacturers thinking ahead of software developers?" I definitely think this is the case, especially with the Wii U upon the horizon. Are there going to be games that really challenge it? Or are we just going to be turning back to the regular old handhelds because it's easier?

Regardless, Evil will always be there updating and improving the stock designs to modify and improve the controllers with Evil Imaging, pro-series options, mods and more!
