  • New GTA Online Secret UFO Mission Found

GTA Online secret UFO missionIn the recent gun running update, Rockstar included some course code for a potentially hidden UFO mission. GTA modding group Team Guru has now uncoded the mission and have got it working.

So far, the mission cannot be played legitimately and it looks as if the mission is not yet completed. Rockstar may have plans to add the full mission in the future. For now, though, the uncompleted mission starts by showing players a gigantic crashed alien spaceship.

Near the spaceship crash is a small alien egg - players can pick up the egg. After this, a group of aliens appear, and players must work together to eliminate the aliens. Players must then drive the egg to their gun running bunker.

Aliens have been seen in Grand Theft Auto 5 before. In a mission in the story, Michael starts to hallucinate after taking drugs. During this mission, players take control of Michael to bring down waves of aliens. Some players have tried to decode an alien-themed mystery, known as the Chilliad mystery, in GTA 5 for a long time.

This new GTA Online secret UFO mission is the first time that there has been a legitimate reference to aliens that doesn't involve some kind of hallucinogenic substance. Does this mean aliens are real in the GTA universe?

What are your thoughts on this GTA Online secret UFO mission? Are you as interested as us?

Hopefully, this new alien mission for GTA Online will be completed and will be added to GTA Online in the future.

  • Bonuses for GTA Online Available This Week

gta online bonuses march 2016There are a number of bonuses available in GTA Online that will remain available throughout the rest of the week. Rockstar has been placing weekly bonuses in GTA Online for the last few weeks and this week's worth of rewards will feature bonus GTA dollars and RP.

Running from March 4 through to March 10, all versus missions will reward players with double GTA$ and double RP. All players will be rewarded with double points, regardless of whether they win their games or not. If you're interested in the versus mode bonuses, you'll be able to quick join into the mode within the pause menu in GTA Online.

On top of the double bonuses for GTA Online's versus mode, players will also be able to save some money on a variety of content. Firstly, all flight school gear has been reduced by 50%. All combat helicopters, including the buzzard, have been temporarily reduced by 25% too. This is probably the area where you'll save the most amount of money, so if you plan to buy an attack chopper, this is the week to do it. All private jets have also been reduced in price by 25%, alongside all automatic rifles from Ammu-Nation. Finally, all homing missile launchers and their ammo have been reduced in price by 30% until March 10. So far, the latest updates for GTA Online have only included discounts and bonuses like this. Hopefully we'll see an actual content update soon too.

  • Free PS Plus February Games Revealed

    ps plus february 2016

It's a brand new month and that means a brand new set of free games for all PS Plus subscribers. The PS Plus games will be available for all players for the entirety of their PS Plus subscription.

The first title on the list of free games this month is GRID Autosport for the PlayStation 3. GRID is a simulation style racing game and offers a lengthy campaign mode and great racing physics. Despite being on PlayStation 3, the visuals in GRID Autosport are pretty spectacular too. Unfortunately a PS4 port is not available.

The second PlayStation 3 title that is available for free in February is Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Persona is a fighter franchise and number four offers decent gameplay, although the story is a little lacking.

Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back is also available for the PlayStation 3 but this title can be picked up for the PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita too. Nom Nom Galaxy is the only PS4 exclusive title in February, whilst PS Vita owners will be able to pick up Lemmings Touch and Nova-111 for free this month.

We think this free PS Plus game lineup is pretty decent - you'll be able to get the most gameplay hours out of GRID but you could easily kill a lot of time in the other titles and Persona 4 would be a great choice if you're looking for a new fighting game that isn't Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter or Tekken.

  • Sony Lists Christmas Deal Game Discounts

    sony assassins creed syndicate

Sony is listing a new deal every day leading up to Christmas day as part of the "12 Deals of Christmas" holiday promotion. The holiday promotion started on November 30, alongside a "Games Under 15 Euro for Christmas" promotion for PS3 and PS Vita titles.

The 12 games for Christmas deals only last 48 hours after their announcement so you'll have to be quick to snatch up the best deals. On November 30, the promotion started with a discount to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which was listed on the PlayStation Store for 34.99 instead of 69.99, essentially taking 50% off of it's digital price. The same 50% discount was available for the PS3 version too.

A number of great deals have been posted over the last couple of weeks but we're now onto deal 7 of the 12 days of Christmas and it lists Assassin's' Creed Syndicate (The new one!) at a discount. The base price of Syndicate is 69.99 but it can now be picked up for 49.99 for two days. The season pass has also had a discount and now sits at 19.99 instead of 29.99. If you want to save even more, you can purchase the Gold edition, which has a huge $45 discount. Usually at 99.99, it can now be picked up for 54.99 for the next 48 hours.

Make sure to keep an eye on the Sony blog to see more Christmas deals as they are posted.

  • New GTA V DLC Trailer Released

gta v dlc executives and other criminals

The next DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online has been announced by Rockstar and it will make it's way to the PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC next week. The new DLC has been named Executives and Other Criminals and in this update players are given the ability to create their own criminal organization.

Although Executives and Other Criminals includes extra modes for player-made criminal organizations, these organizations basically act like a new form of team size clans. Players can create their organizations and then go face to face with other organizations via the new co-op jobs and challenges. Some of the pre-existing Freemode Events will now be altered slightly when a criminal organization takes part in it together. Modes like King of the Castle and Moving Target will change slightly. A new mode named Extraction Adversary has also been added. In this mode, teams of bodyguards must search and locate an executive before a hit squad gets to him first.

Players can hire player-controller bodyguards for Freemode. Bodyguards will be paid RP and GTA$ regularly but they can be fired by the organization VIP at any time.

To add to the content, Rockstar has included new apartments and houses in Vinewood Hills as well as an upgradeable Super Yacht. New armored vehicle variants will be added in Executives and Other Criminals, along with a turreted limousine and a new helicopter named the SuperVolito Carbon.

A variety of new weapons, vehicles and clothing items are expected to be added in with the Executives and Other Criminals update. Rockstar has set the release date for this DLC as December 15.

  • Beyond Two Souls Out November 24 on PS4

    beyond two souls ps4

After a long wait, the release date for the PlayStation 4 version of Beyond Two Souls has been announced. Once November 24 hits, players will be able to purchase the remastered version of Beyond Two Souls for the PlayStation 4.

The new version of Beyond Two Souls on the PlayStation 4 will differ slightly from the original version. Firstly the game has been upgraded with new HD graphics, making the game look even nicer than the original PS3 release.

The new version of the game will cost players $29.99 and will be available from the PlayStation store starting November 24. On top of the HD 1080p resolution improvements, the game now has motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows. The game also makes use of the DualShock 4 speaker to improve immersion when playing as the Entity.

A new feature will also show what decisions you've made at the end of each scene and you'll be able to see how you compare to other player's decisions. The new PS4 version of Beyond Two Souls also allows players to now play each scene in chronological order.

On top of the Beyond Two Souls release, Heavy Rain will be launched on PlayStation 4 as a remake on March 1, 2016.

Now that Beyond Two Souls is available on PlayStation 4, will you be trying out the game? If you've already played the game on PS3 will you consider picking up the upgraded version?

  • Here's The 10 Best Games of All Time, According to EDGE

    best games of all time

What games mean the most to you as a gamer are going to be down to personal preference and taste of genre, but when a good game has been developed, you simply can't dismiss it as anything other than a good game. EDGE has attempted to list the 100 top games of all time and I'd have to agree with a lot of the games on the list. Whilst we won't be posting the whole 100 games here, as it is quite lengthy, we've decided to cut to what matters the most - the top 10 games of all time, according to EDGE.

First up, let's take a look at the first five games, from spot number 10 to spot number 6.

    10-Minecraft

    9-Resident Evil 4

8-Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

    7-Super Mario Galaxy 2

    6-Tetris

At number 10, Minecraft definitely deserves a good mention. It's managed to break into millions of homes across the world as one of the most compatible games for all audiences. In terms of pure gameplay, Minecraft is certainly very incredible, but it misses that magical feeling you get when being taken away on an adventure through a carefully crafted story. I'd definitely give props to all of the other games on this list too. Ocarina of Time deserves a bit of a closer shot towards number one in my personal opinion.

    5-Half-Life 2

    4-Bloodborne

    3-The Last of Us

    2-GTA V

    1-Dark Souls

These five games above are the top five games of all time according to EDGE. The Last of Us and GTA V are instant classics, that's for sure. Dark Souls was an interesting choice - definitely a great game but is it really the best? I’m sure that's down for a big discussion.

  • The Disgaea Triple Play Collection has Launched

    triple play collection

NIS America has revealed a brand new collection that features three different Disgaea titles and it has already made it's way to Europe in anticipation for the release of Disgaea 5 on October 9.

The new Triple Play Collection features Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, and Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. The game collection is available physically in-store and all three games are all available on one single disc.

All three games were originally released for the PlayStation 3 and the Triple Play Collection has also been made for the PlayStation 3. Unfortunately a PS4 port has not been mentioned yet so if you'd like to play the Triple Play Collection you'll have to dust off your PS3.

All three games lead on from each other so you'll be able to play through each one and keep track of the story as you do. If you pick up the Disgaea Triple Play Collection now you should be finished in time for Disgaea 5 on October 9.

The new Triple Play Collection will set you back 39.99 EUR if you're in Europe or £39.99GBP if you're in the United Kingdom. So far a release for North American markets has not yet been announced.

We'll make sure to keep you updated on any news for a North American release. Hopefully the Triple Play Collection will be available for North America soon. Either way, Disgaea 5 will be available for both Europe and North America on October 9.

  • Activision Says Call of Duty Remasters are Possible

    call of duty remaster

Whether you are looking forward to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 or not, you can't deny that Activision has done a great job, alongside some of it's developers, to release a number of classic Call of Duty games in the past.

Some players may have the fondest of memories in Black Ops 1, whilst others remember spending their days on Modern Warfare 2. Some veterans out there may even tell you that their fondest memories were from Call of Duty 4.

Either way, there is a lot of nostalgia hiding in many of the older Call of Duty titles, and Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg understands that this is a great reason for remastered versions to be created.

Hirshberg mentioned that, "If done well, remasters can be great."

"You talk about nostalgia, and people have such connection to the games they love from the last cycle. They want to see what it would look like if someone did it right for this cycle."

Hirshberg even went on to say that a remastered collection for Call of Duty could certainly be possible, but it mainly comes down to whether Activision can have the time spare to focus on such a thing, instead of working on newer titles.

"We need everybody we can get to make the content we're already committed to for our new games. It's always a matter of finding great people to do that work. I would love to play Modern Warfare 1 or the original Black Ops. There's certainly a deep well there. No announcements, but it's something we talk about and think about a lot."

So, yes - a Call of Duty remastered collection? Activision are definitely thinking about it.
