Usually, patches are made to fix things, but sometimes they end up creating more problems than there were in the first place. This seems to be the case with Call of Duty Ghosts on the Xbox One, which recently had an update pushed to the game that has caused some performance issues.
Seeing as FPS and video quality was pretty much the big topic around the time of Call of Duty Ghost’s release, I could imagine that this will be quite a heavy blow for any Xbox fans out there, while PlayStation fans don't need to worry.
I’m on neither side of the fence, and would happily enjoy playing on either console if there were games out there to make it worthwhile. However, this new patch has definitely not made playing COD Ghosts on the Xbox One worthwhile, and I feel bad for all of the people that have already paid full price for the Xbox One copy of the game, and maybe even more on top of that for DLC or season passes.
So far, the frame rate on the Xbox One has been pretty

New information has come in about a brand new DLC expansion pack for Call of Duty Ghosts. So far details are on the low, but a new teaser can get us guessing at what's to come. Infinity Ward have called the new DLC pack Onslaught, and apart from a very quick Instagram video, there really isn't much to know about the new upcoming DLC.
Fortunately though, there are a couple things that give away what could make it's way to COD Ghosts in Onslaught. The first thing is the name - in FPS games, onslaught is usually given to game types that have waves of incoming enemies that attack a base or shelter, which players have to try to defend for as long as possible.
The second hint is the Instagram video, which shows a dark and damp trailer park, a player holding what looks to be a hatchet, a few flashes, and that's it.
Right off of the bat I thought "Zombies." Will Call of Duty: Ghosts ever get Zombies? If it does, the Onslaught DLC pack will be the one for it. If not, then we'll

Despite Sony's and Microsoft's best attempts to keep hackers and modders out of the gaming communities on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE, it seems more and more people are finding ways into the system to cheat online and ruin gameplay for others.
Call of Duty has never been perfect for this, and when it comes to modded lobbies and cheats running around in-game, the average Call of Duty gamer has probably heard at least something about such things existing.
Unfortunately, it looks as if hacks and cheats on Call of Duty Ghosts have hit an all time low. Many players are reporting issues with players using hacks to give them access to perks all the way through a game, and others have accidentally found themselves inside a modded lobby, where players are boosting and gaining thousand’s more points per minute than actually possible.
On top of the hacking problems within the game itself, news has hit that a team of hackers have managed to release a torrent file

After all of the talk and arguing about whether the two next gen consoles, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, will have 1080P support for next gen titles, it's personally left me a bit frustrated with the way 'fanboys' seem to enjoy trash talking their fellow gamers.
This probably leaves Microsoft, Sony and any game developers working on next gen titles wondering what they can do to please the angry crowd of gamers that are slowly piling up outside their front door, and in Infinity Ward's case, it looks like a 1080P compatibility patch for Call of Duty Ghosts on the PlayStation 4.
Straight out of the box, Call of Duty Ghosts will play at 1080P natively in multiplayer mode, but the single player is stuck at 720P. The new patch that's been available for download since day one fixes this and allows players to play single player in 1080P resolution.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be the first game in the franchise to include the ability to lean round corners. This feature has been present in many other FPS games including the Battlefield series for some time now, so it's nice to see it finally make its way into Call of Duty.
There is currently one problem with the leaning glitch, and this has been pointed out by a Vine video showing the leaning ability in action.
The Vine video shows one player leaning out of cover, however from another player's view, the player cannot be seen leaning out at all.
Despite the player that is leaning out of cover being able to see past the cover clearly and take shots at other players, others cannot see or even shoot the player.
This problem seems to be due to an animation not playing for the character when a player goes to lean, and it shouldn't be a very easy problem to fix.
In fact, Infinity Ward's Tina Palacios sent out a tweet on twitter to completely dispel the issue-

Despite many of the launch titles being available for both current generation and next generation consoles, it's looking like Infinity Ward and Activision are having to make some sacrifices to the current generation version of Call of Duty Ghosts to ensure things run smoothly.
Thanks to a new leaked image of the back cover for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty Ghosts, we now have found out that the online multiplayer will only feature up to 6 versus 6 combat, with the largest games only having a total of 12 players, instead of the standard 18 seen in previous COD games.
On the next gen version and the PC version of Call of Duty Ghosts, the 18 player standard is present, so it looks as if sacrifices have had to be made. Although we haven't seen a PlayStation 3 copy of the game, it's likely that PS3 will only support up to 12 players online as well.
The leaked image also gives us information on the mandatory download for COD Ghosts on the Xbox 360. Luckily, it will

When developing content that will be available to millions of people upon its release, it becomes very difficult to manage and stop content from leaking out before its planned release date.
Activision and Infinity Ward have been pretty generous leading up to the Call of Duty Ghosts launch and have given us a lot of information on the upcoming game, however despite this, leaks and information on the game are spreading out all over the place, and the cause of this seems to be that some lucky people have been able to get hold of a copy COD Ghosts before its launch in November, and thanks to these people, we now have pretty much everything we could want to know about the multiplayer.
Below you can see a summary of the content available on the Call of Duty Ghosts online multiplayer, thanks to various leaks throughout the internet.

The release date for Call of Duty Ghosts isn't very far away at all now, but a lot of the game is still under wraps. We all know we're going to be getting a lot of what previous Call of Duty games were about, and we understand about the new inclusion of dogs within multiplayer and the campaign, but there are still many other details we're missing out on.
Achievements for the game have been leaked and it gives us an insight into what we may be doing on COD Ghosts when it finally comes out.
The achievements hint at a few interesting scenarios within the campaign story mode. It looks as if the game will include levels with hacking, stealth, underwater combat, destroying helicopters, destroying ships, commandeering space stations and shooting guys off the side of a train, among other things.
The achievement list is below-
- Ghost Stories (5) - Escape. (Complete "Ghost Stories" on any difficulty.)
- Spatial Awareness (10) - Kill your first enemy in the
