    Error 37

For those of you who have waited a decade to play Diablo III, was it as good as you imagined? Well we all may have our own opinions on what we like/dislike about the PC game thus far, but I think we can all agree that connection errors were a problem we all hated.

When it came to launch time many of us had the game downloaded and installed; all we were waiting for was the servers to open up so we could set our eyes upon the Blizzard created madness known as Diablo III. However, once the hour came, what were we hit with was "Error 37" which for those of you who don't know, is an error message saying that the servers are busy. Now that is not to say all of us had problems connecting at first, but at one point or another it has happened. However, the major problem with Diablo III hasn't had anything to do with the game itself, the mechanics or the visuals, but rather with the connection errors. Knowing you have a well done game in front of you, but you're constantly having server issues is insanely frustrating. So, is Blizzard going to work out the kinks? Let's hope so!

  • Diablo 3 Community Site Is Operational

Its been a long time coming, and now there is light on the horizon for fans of the famed Diablo series. Blizzard has recently opened an online community for Diablo 3, featuring forums, videos, guides, and much more to satisfy the needs of Diablo gamers.

It gives Diablo fans the opportunity to get together before the release of the game, and plan out their battle strategies long before the fight begins. From the looks of it there is still no solid release date planned for Diablo 3, but one thing is certain: the new online community brings us one step closer to the action.

Diablo has been a mainstay in the gaming community for years, for example, I spent many hours of my youth in the world of Diablo 2. The Diablo series is popular for good reason, with stunning graphics and detailed game play Diablo is among the best of PC games.

My hope is that the release of the online community is a signal that gamers are closer to the release of Diablo 3. At the very least, a beta version of the game could be on the near horizon, and accordingly the excitement surrounding the game is back in the mainstream consciousness of gamers. I personally have a huge connection to the Diablo series, and I cannot wait for more developments on the pending Diablo 3 title.

Go ahead and check out the forum! Hopefully it will reignite your excitement as it has mine, and we can all start preparing to conquer Diablo 3s universe.

  • Blizzard is serious on bringing Diablo to consoles.

Blizzard contemplates on bringing Diablo III to PS3, XBOX, and/or Wii-U in the future

Blizzard has in the pastshown interest about having Diablo III or a Diablo-related concept on gaming consoles when they were asked about such an idea. Well lately, it seems they are thinking more seriously about the concept more and more.

Recently at Blizzard's press conference at Germany's Gamescom,Josh Mosqueira, Diablo III lead designer, stated that he is"very, very serious" about bringing some undefined "experience" to platforms beyond PC gaming. That interpreted means he and his team at Blizzard are likely on trying to bring the experience to consoles.

"Today, we're trying to build the best console team at Blizzard...we're looking for programmers, designers and artists who think their dream job would be to bringDiablo to the console."

While Mosquiera didn't state it was for the Xbox 360, the PS3, or the upcoming Wii-U console, he did say that we should be excited for such an idea and "stay tuned" for any upcoming news. Come to think about it, Blizzcon is coming up soon. One could guess that "stay tuned" means "wait until Blizzcon for our announcement".

Knowing how Blizzard operates with windows of time between product announcements and shipments while maintaining their current games, there is no given or educated guess on when (or if) Diablo can be played on console system. One can hope that one of these days we can be playing Necromancer a high-definition cow level on Xbox Live.
