If you're enjoying the criminal life in Payday 2, you'll be glad to know that you'll be able to enjoy it even more as the developers of Payday 2, Overkill Software, plan to release a total of 5 different DLC packs in the future. David Goldfarb, the game's director, has said that Payday 2 is "just like it's predecessor, Payday: The Heist' and that it's 'a living thing."
All of the 5 DLC packs are planned for release over the next year, however details on what these DLC packs will include has been kept behind bars for now.
If you're not up for spending on new DLC packs, Payday 2 has also been planned to have free content updates according to David Goldfarb, meaning you'll be able to enjoy some new content for the game in the future without having to pay. Once again, no details have been given on what exactly this new content will include.
Will you be buying the DLC packs for Payday 2? Many have been playing this game recently and despite it being an underdog in a time

The first of the previously announced trilogy of downloadable content packages for Bioshock Infinite has been released, and it will be available for both PS3 and Xbox 360 as soon as both Microsoft and Sony make it so according to Irrational Games.
The first DLC pack has been named Clash of the Clouds and is a wave based arena game that will test players skills within the various fields of the combat system used within-game.
The Clash of the Clouds DLC will also include new voxophones written by creative director Ken Levine, as well as some new Kinectoscopes and other unlockables. The DLC package currently costs $5 on Steam so similar prices will probably be released to Microsoft and Sony.
Ken Levine has also revealed that the other two downloadable content packages will form a two-part story that puts both Booker and Elizabeth as a two team detective squad that the player will be able to play as in both stories.
The first part of the DLC, named Burial at Sea

Codemasters has announced a few upcoming DLC packs for GRID 2 including a DLC pack that adds the Demolition Derby mode previously seen in the first GRID game.
According to Codemasters, the developers of GRID 2 plan on releasing a free community patch that adds multiple changes on the game that reflect players feedback since the release of the game. The free patch will include the demolition derby mode, along with some other changes and will hit GRID 2 this August.
Some of the changes make differences to the custom playlist, hardcore playlist and an update to the level cap, increasing the highest level from 30 to a huge 99. A lot more changes will be made to the game in this free update including a few tweaks to the racing system and an overhaul to the anti cheat system.
Community manager Ben Walke also went on to discuss two new DLC track packs.
"These packs will each contain a new circuit, some cars and also include new achievements and trophies for you to obtain.

So it seems this time round DICE and EA have decided to partner up with Microsoft instead of Sony to offer timed exclusivity to the new Xbox One.
Battlefield 4 players will be able to get a map pack, named the Second Assault earlier than on any other console. We've already seen this kind of model on previous games, including Battlefield 3, a game that had timed exclusivity for the PlayStation 3.
Whilst this doesn't really strike up much of an issue (every console will have access to the maps at some point) it does bring up the need for a discussion on publishers and their attempts to turn every developer's actions into a bunch of cash.
Publishers have been strict on developers, forcing them to include day one DLC, season passes and exclusive deals for specific platforms. This can be an unsavory experience for us gamers, and makes us feel like nothing more than consumers of a product instead of gamers of a game that’s been developed by a passionate

Injustice: Gods Among Us has a new DLC pack planned that will allow players to play as Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.
The character is represented in a way that fits in with the Injustice game, making Scorpion look right at home alongside the villains and heroes of Injustice: Gods Among us.
The DLC pack will cost $4.99 on the PlayStation Network and 400 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360.
This won't be the first time Scorpion has been matched up against DC Comic super heroes and villains, the first time being in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe in 2008.
As the Injustice game doesn't particularly stick to any lore of the DC world, I think seeing Scorpion in the game is a nice, fun addition, and I'm hoping he'll be a valuable player to play with.
The Scorpion Download Content pack will be available from June 11th on wards for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and should be available for Wii U sometime later in the summer.

Usually a game of the year edition ends up being something special for those players who've decided to wait a while to get their hands on a game. Take the Oblivion game-of-the-year for example; after releasing the game and bringing out a huge amount of DLC for the title, bundling it up into one easily playable package that was somewhat cheaper than buying it all separately was a great idea both for Bethesda and the players.
However, in the case of Black Ops 2, it'd take a bit more than just DLC to make it special seeing as the only DLC at the moment is Revolution. But, as it turns out, all that is actually coming in the GOTY edition of Black Ops 2 is the game and the one DLC. What's more is the price is at $60. This seems a little odd when you can get your hand on the game for around $40, and then buy the $15 DLC pack separately, saving yourself a much needed 5 dollars.
To make it more enticing, Activision could have added the season pass to the bundle, but without

As the release date for Battlefield 4 draws closer, we are hearing more and more about the different versions and DLC the game will include.
For those in the UK, GAME has recently struck a deal with EA and DICE to release a Battlefield 4 exclusive deluxe edition that comes with a bunch of downloadable content.
The deluxe edition will cost 64.99 (Pounds) for both PS3 and Xbox 360, and will include the previously announced China Rising DLC pack, among other things.
The extra bonuses will include currently unannounced in-game content, Battlefield 4, and a Battlefield 4 steel book cover.
The DLC will also be available for purchase for those who order the standard version. Currently there is no information on whether a US alternative to the deluxe edition will make it to retail.
Battlefield 4 will make it to Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29th, with an Xbox One and PS4 release following afterwards.

After Gamers have shouted their concerns on the growing problem that is game DLC, the fact of the matter is that the problem has not been resolved, and in fact, it's slowly getting worse and worse.
Metro Last Light has finally made its way to release, despite problems with publishers in its early stages of development, but there is a concern about how the game has been released. The Ranger Mode, the way Last Light's developers recommend you to play the game, doesn't actually come boxed with the game at all. In fact, to get the recommended game mode, you will have to pay.
The developers for Metro Last Light have stated on Twitter that the reason behind this is that thanks to Microsoft's Policies they cannot release the DLC for free, and have had to go with the cheapest possible cost for the Ranger Mode. However, this will still cost players $5 worth of Microsoft Points, and what's really disappointing is that to 'be fair' with all gamers in general, the DLC now will also cost

An innocent looking photo of Borderlands 2 and Gearbox's PR man Steve Gibson taking a nap on a couch has revealed something that may get Borderlands 2 fans excited. Ironically, behind the peaceful looking image of the PR worker is a Borderlands 2 cardboard cutout with the words "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" on it.
This is the biggest leak you could get, as it comes right from the man whose job it is to make sure that content is shown to the public at the best time at the best time possible. Was this clever marketing ploy, or a silly mistake?
It's more than likely that the latter is the truth of the story, as after the picture was uploaded to twitter, it was taken back down again. Luckily, other sources managed to get it out to the rest of the internet before it disappeared.
Gearbox has since decided to reveal the details on the new DLC because of the leak, and has let everyone know that the game is set for release on June 25th and will cost $10 for
