Nintendo Releases the Official Zelda Timeline to Stop all the Debating of the Timeline
Kotaku got their hands on the newest art book for the Legend of Zelda and to everyone's surprise, it contained a Japanese layout of the series ever-so confusing timeline. The book has been out now for sometime, giving plenty of time for proofreads and translations. And now, finally, Nintendo can end all of the internet debates on exactly how the timeline of Zelda is really played out.
And while there are some doubters out there about the entire timeline, it should be noted that the book's "supervising editor [...]

PS Vita Games show up at Tokyo Game Show, Shape Looks Oddly Familiar
At the Tokyo Game Show, companies like Sony and Nintendo are displaying their latest games and soon-t0-be-released consoles. One of the most interesting things coming out of TGS is the Playstation Vita. Now, when it comes to portable handheld consoles, I'm a Nintendo fanboy (despite I own the first generation DS that's the size of a brick and sometimes I am skeptic of buying a 3DS). But when the images of Sony's booth at the show were shown on the internet, I noticed something about the Playstation [...]

Nintendo 3DS price drops from $249 to $170.
When 3DS sales began to drop only a small bit of time after its release, Nintendo acted quick torebootthe public into purchasing its handheld system. Currently the 3DS is selling at nearly $250 but come August 12th, it will be slashed down to $169.99.
Commenting on this price slashing, Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America stated:
"For anyone who was on the fence about buying a Nintendo 3DS, this is a huge motivation to buy now...we are giving shoppers every incentive to pick up a Nintendo 3DS, from an amazing new price to a [...]

Evil Ambassador Copiozo's Thoughts on upcoming Green Lantern video game.
You know, it seems that the best movies out there these days are usually ones based on nerd stuff that I like like video games and comic books....with a few titles we wish that didn't get on the big screen (coughcoughFantastic Fourcoughcough). While they are huge hits and are part of my vast DVD library, the best movies nearly almost make the worst video games. This is usually to generate more cash for the movie (the term "cash-in" is used for this case).
In comes the Green Lantern movie's video game, Rise [...]

Jack Tretton of Sony states some harsh words for gamers, especially 3DS owners.
Okay so after finding this technology article from Fortune Magazine's online site, I think you can see what myself (and about 99% of the gaming community) thinks about this statement. Frankly, I think Jack just probably shot himself in the foot with this statement, probably thinking no one in the gaming community would find it on Fortune Magazine's site.
It's proof that this man (not the company) who makes decisions for Sony's department of entertainment doesn't get what the gamers of today are. Sure there are a lot of [...]

Gamer News: DS in March outsold the 3DS.
Found here on Kotaku, the Nintendo DS outsold the Nintendo 3DS in the month of March. Sure, the DS had all of the MONTH of March to sell its units and the 3DS did have a smaller set of time to sell. The Nintendo DS sold at 460,000 units while the 3DS sold 400,000 units.
When it was released back in 2004, the DS sold sold 500,000 units in its first seven days here in the US, while the 3DS sold around 400,000 during its US launch. Smaller, yet most likely contributing to that [...]

Plants VS Zombies: Arcade Version
I first came across this game when my youngest brother, who is now nine-years-old, was glued to the computer screen protecting his house from the swarm of zombies for hours on end. I then downloaded the game on my Mac, Xbox, then purchased for my brother on the ipad and for his DS. We became addicted as soon as the game was offered in just about every way possible. And most recently in China Shunxiang Technology released an arcade version of the game. While the graphics on the arcade edition of Plants Vs. Zombies is [...]

Games - Pokemon and its Generations
Poke'mon is the real deal. It's been around since 1996 and it's still ticking. I don't think people know to the degree in which Poke'mon was and still sort of is, a big deal. People have written books about Poke'mon. Written about it's ridiculous ability to pull and captivate not just single people into it's cute little world, but entire quadrants of our society.
Poke'mon started as a japanese manga and then transformed into two Game Boy games. Poke'mon Red and Blue (Green if you lived in Japan at the time of it's original release.) The [...]
