In a new announcement, Lionhead Studios have announced that Fable Legends will actually be releasing for free on both Windows 10 for PC and the Xbox One. The game will follow a free to play pricing model, allowing players to play for free, but charging for certain in-game items or features.
This announcement comes as a bit of a surprise, as this is the first time Lionhead have mentioned the game will not have a price tag. In a similar vein to League of Legends, players will be given a free weekly rota of Heroes to play as, and each week the free Heroes will change.
If players like a certain Hero, they can purchase them to play with indefinitely. Players will be able to use real money to purchase the Heroes, or they can accumulate in-game currency to spend on the Heroes.
When it comes to playing the Villain, players will be given all of the Villain's mobs and traps for free, but they will only be able to use each trap and mob designed for each mission. If a mob has been

Unfortunately, Sony has failed to release March's PlayStation Plus free games, and Sony has released a small statement explaining why this has happened.
According to Sony's Fred Dutton in a new PlayStation blog post, they have not managed to finalize the lineup in time for March, and it may be a little while before they are given the go ahead to release the free PS Plus titles.
"I appreciate you're all really keen to see the line-up and that it's frustrating having to hang on a bit longer than usual. Alas, we're still not quite ready to make the announcement."
"I can't give you a firm time at present as to when the post will go live, but we're working to get it to you as soon as possible. It may well be next week at this stage."
By the sounds of things, it is looking unlikely that we'll see the free games lineup in the few days of March, and we may even have to wait till the second week of March before the games are live. This is unfortunate, but Sony does need

Even though the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed once again, the release date for online heists have finally been locked down, and we will be seeing them in-game from March 10th onwards.
As you can imagine, Rockstar have quite a bit to say about the online heists, which have taken them months longer than they first anticipated to complete.
In a new statement on the Rockstar blog, it read -
"We are excited to announce that the launch of Heists for GTA Online is scheduled for March 10th. We know it's been a wait, and appreciate your patience. Heists will bring a brand new 4-player cooperative gameplay experience to GTA Online, giving players the chance to team up to pull off a string of intense, multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County. Over the next couple of weeks, we will have more information about the launch of Heists and about other new features that we will release with it."
Hopefully Rockstar will reveal more details

Xbox has just announced their new lineup of free games for Xbox Live Gold members, and it's looking like a pretty good month. All three of the games available in March will be absolute amazing games, and there's no doubt that players will be happy about these titles.
Firstly, the Xbox One game that will be featured this month for free is Rayman Legends. This is a game that features the one and only Rayman in a new platformer experience. Rayman Legends is definitely one of the best platformers available in recent years, and I expect a lot of players will be happy to pick it up if they haven't yet.
As for the Xbox 360, two games have been lined up for March, and as per usual, one game will be available for the first half of the month, before being removed and replaced with another game on the second half of March.
Starting on March 1st, Tomb Raider, the latest reboot of the action adventure series will be put up for free. Considering the new Xbox One exclusivity deal

HTC has just announced a brand new product that they have been working on in partnership with Valve. The new product is a virtual reality headset that has been manufactured to compete with other VR headsets from manufacturers such as Samsung and Oculus.
The new headset has been given the name HTC Vive, and unlike other virtual reality headsets, it will act as a standalone device, and no other devices, such as smartphones, will be needed to operate it.
It seems HTC are at the forefront of development for the HTC Vive, and Valve has simply partnered with them to ensure themselves a space in the newly born virtual reality scene that has been growing over the last few years.
Peter Chou, HTC's vice chairman, made a statement about the HTC Vive.
"We believe virtual reality will totally transform the way we interact with the world. Virtual reality will become a mainstream experience for the general consumer the possibilities are limitless. Viewing awesome scenery, attending

Whether or not you're okay with the dozens of dollars worth of DLC content in Evolve generally comes down to how you feel about the whole practice of selling you content after the game has been completed, but it's not just Evolve that features staggering amounts of paid-for content.
In fact, Team Ninja have recently released details on what new downloadable content will be available in their latest remaster for new gen consoles. I'm of course talking about Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, the game that is a remake of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, which is coincidentally a remake of Dead or Alive 5.
I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at here. Even though Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is not going for full retail on either the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One, the game does include just under $93 worth of DLC.
Fortunately, practically all of the DLC available is only cosmetic skins and costumes for characters, similarly to a lot of the content players can pay for in Evolve. The $93

Let's be honest, any open world game by Bioware is always going to look nice when compared to other titles released around the same time. Mass Effect 4 should be no different, and thanks to a new job listing on Bioware's website, we can get a better idea about what kind of direction Bioware will want artists to go in the upcoming Mass Effect.
In a latest job listing, Bioware are looking for a member to join their team that can specifically create "emotionally believable characters that allow game players to interact with the game, whether photorealistic or stylized, in a realistic and believable fashion."
The depth of story involved in the Mass Effect franchise has always been impressive, and being able to capture and create characters that really show believable emotion will be a great way to improve the story depth and detail of characters in Mass Effect 4.
If Bioware manage to create a game that is both highly engaging as a fun game, and as a intense, emotional driven

If you've played through Destiny, you may have noticed that the game lacked the open world, inspiring universe feeling that Bungie was aiming for. As it turns out, the reason Destiny lacked quality may not have been down to Bungie, and a large part of the problem came down to last gen technology.
In a new interview with Destiny's designers, Rob Adams and Deej, it was revealed that the cosmodrome area on Earth was planned to be 5 to 10 times larger than it actually turned out to be.
"There's a lot of stuff that didn't make the cut. I think our original vision for this was something about five-to-ten times bigger, geographically, and our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs."
One of the biggest reasons behind limiting the world size was because Bungie actually wanted players to see other players around them. Creating a big world would make it hard to find other players, especially because the Xbox 360 and PS3 were limited in regards to how many players could be in one

Over the last few months, Netherrealm has slowly been revealing the roster for Mortal Kombat X, fighter by fighter, and this week another fighter has been announced by the development team behind the next Mortal Kombat.
The fighter in question is Ermac, a character that has been around since Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Ermac resembles the appearance of a traditional ninja, and holds a variety of telekinesis-based moves.
Ermac was originally created as a response to fan mythology in the early days of Mortal Kombat. Players believed that a glitch that caused a message to appear, reading "Error Macro," would cause Scorpion’s outfit to turn red, thus Ermac was created.
Ermac has a pretty wide range of abilities considering that in lore he is a collection of different warriors, although most of his best abilities are related to some form of telekinesis.
Alongside the new reveal of Ermac for Mortal Kombat X, the developers revealed that they will soon be announcing a

The first DLC pack for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare has finally arrived on the Xbox, and it can now be picked up for both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 as part of an early access deal. The Havoc DLC will also be released for the PC and the PlayStation consoles at some point in February.
The new Havoc DLC pack comes with a wide range of new content, including four brand new maps, and the anticipated exo zombies survival co-op mode.
The four maps included in the Havoc DLC are Sideshow, Core, Urban and Drift. Sideshow is a shanty town built within a cargo ship. Core is within a large drilling station, and Drift is a small sized snow town. Finally, Urban is a packed city area.
Before the Havoc DLC was officially released, two new weapons were also put out as part of the Havoc DLC pack. Season pass players were able to take hold of the weapons in the Havoc DLC earlier in the year. The weapons included a new laser AE4 Widowmaker rifle, and a direct variation of the same
