Nintendo Releases the Official Zelda Timeline to Stop all the Debating of the Timeline
Kotaku got their hands on the newest art book for the Legend of Zelda and to everyone's surprise, it contained a Japanese layout of the series ever-so confusing timeline. The book has been out now for sometime, giving plenty of time for proofreads and translations. And now, finally, Nintendo can end all of the internet debates on exactly how the timeline of Zelda is really played out.
And while there are some doubters out there about the entire timeline, it should be noted that the book's "supervising editor [...]

Future Shop to give out Gears of War 3 bandages as a pre-order bonus.
When you pre-order or purchase the special edition of games like Gears of War or Call of Duty, usually you get some extra content like in-game unlocks or costumes and/or you get some real life content like a RC camera car (which you got from you pre-ordered the specialized edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops). Well Future Shop (Canada's answer to Best Buy) decided to add something different to the amount of swag you get for pre-ordering Gears of War 3, bandages.
That's right. You get someGears [...]

Wii U
There are lots of reasons to be excited with all of the new games, and technology being released at the 2011 E3 convention. Personally, I am extremely amped about the new Nintendo products that have made their debut at E3, continuing along line of great products and games. The biggest release for Nintendo has been the Wii U, which from demo trailers looks to be very enticing.
The Wii U utilizes both your television screen and a streamline touch screen remote to offer a unique gaming experience. It is set to be released in 2012,and I cannot wait to [...]

Zelda Series celebrates 25th Anniversary
Happy birthday Link!
Apparently everyones been turning 25 lately (except me – Im currently dreading the 22nd birthday myself). This Monday of Presidents Day, Link, Zelda, Ganon(dorf) and co. turned 25, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of February 21, 1986 when Link first held a sword. And whats amazing to see is not what has changed, but what hasnt.
The beloved series has kept to its roots better than most franchises, bringing the heroes and villains to return in almost all installments. While its obvious that Link and Zelda remain in the newest episodes, it is interesting to notice [...]

Game Art by Ryan Shiu
Ryan Shiu, a talented illustrator, animator and graphic designer, developed Pikasm in 2009. Shiu is one of the few artists who can bring an original touch to some of our favorite and classic video games and animated characters. Many artists attempt to capture some of the most epic moments from The Legend of Zelda but none come close to the visual creativity that Shiu is able to produce. Unfortunately Shiu has not updated his website since its birth, but much of the art work he has produced continues to be making its way across the world [...]

Nintendo Game only Half Done
At E3 2010, announcements of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword had critics and gamers alike swooning over the newest installment in the popular franchise. According to sources then, the game would not take an extraordinarily long time to finish and would arrive fairly soon. It was stated then that production was running smoothly and it could be expected shortly.
However, Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendos head honcho, recently stated Skyward Sword was over half complete, leading people to believe that it wont be coming as soon as hoped. Miyamoto said nothing further on the subject, a total shock [...]
