Gaming Controllers, Which Console Design is #1?
No doubt over the years we have seen companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo as the frontrunners in gaming, change their controllers or make new ones to help feed this era of technology driven individuals. After stumbling upon an article about which controller is the best, it came down to the Xbox 360 controller and the PS3 controller.
Over many years of trying to remodel their controllers, I do sincerely agree that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 controllers are the best that the market has to offer as of late. Which one is better [...]

Peter Molyneux at E3
E3 is only a few weeks away, but Spike TV has announced that they will have Peter Molyneux as their guest host while covering everything related to the world's biggest gaming expo.
Peter Molyneux is the mind behind the popular Xbox franchise, Fable and has recently departed Microsoft to start his own indie studio. While his studio 22 Cans has yet to release any titles, Molyneux is definitely an industry giant. Paired with Geoff Keighley and Kotaku editors you can expect much smarter coverage of E3 this time around on Spike TV.
The live E3 analysis will begin on [...]

Kaz Hirai to be Officially the Next Head of Sony
As I have stated nearly a year ago, Kaz Hirai will become the next head of Sony. According to this article on Kotaku, it seems that it has been officially confirmed. Sony CEO Howard Stringer announced that his replacement as President and CEO of Sony Corporation will definitely be Kaz Hirai, when he steps down in June. They officially announced this move with Hirai's promotion in April (while Stringer will remain as executive chairman until his departure this Summer).
Being the former head of Sony's PlayStation division, Hirai has been known be [...]

Hidden Gems for the PS2 like Godhand Are Coming the PSN
Kotaku gave us some great and unexpected news, as Sony has launched a campaign on the Playstation Network called "Only on PSN". This campaign will promote various genres of games like Move games, indie games, and rare PS2 games. When I heard about this, I was wondering what they deemed as "rare PS2 games". I mean are we talking about "great games on the PS2 that I'd have to pay out of nose to get a legit copy on eBay?" or we talking about "games that I can probably find [...]

Sony: Firmware Updates Will Not Be Troublesome in the Future
Currently, Sony's biggest problem is the way their consoles like the PSP updates their firmware. They're always often and they slow down or tie up the system which in result means that pick-up-and-play gaming sessions are halted by an essential firmware update.
This has been a problem Sony is looking to fix with the PlayStation Vita. Found here on Kotaku,Shuhei Yoshida (Head of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios) stated the following:
"...it's very annoying when you only have one hour in your busy life to play a game, and when you have [...]

Signs of Microsoft Moving Away from Japanese Market are Showing.
After years and years of promoting the Xbox 360 in Japan, Microsoft still only sells around 2,000 a week in the land of the rising sun. Last week, sales statistics showed that the XBox 360 was being outsold by Playstation 2 consoles. Mind boggling isn't it?
And with the Tokyo Game Show coming up later this year, Microsoft of Japan is showing that they are making a slow withdraw from the region. Proof is shown as its booth at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show is smaller than Capcom's, Namco Bandai's, and Sega's [...]

Gearbox Software gives away free copies of Borderlands 2 at their PAX panel.
Randy Pitchford and the rest of the top staff of Gearbox Software decided to give a surprise for everyone who attended their panel at Pax Prime last week. It wasn't a preview on any new content for the first Borderlands nor was it free convention-only DLC content. They pulled off an Oprah and gave everyone in the audience a free copy of Borderlands 2 when it is released. Of course unlike what Oprah did when she gave away cars, at it's unlikely that the audience members were going [...]
