Console News - Record Sales for Microsoft's XBOX 360
Looks like Microsoft hit its record sales on the Xbox 360 at the closing of the last year, so big that Microsoft had to even pull from January and Februarys 360 inventory in order to keep pace with demands.
According to NPD, a U.S retail tracker, Microsoft sold approximately 1.9 million Xbox 360 consoles in December alone, closing up what Microsoft referred to as their biggest year. Steve Wiebe reigns again! Twin Galaxies has officially releases a press release statement regarding the newest Donkey Kong arcade record. As of August 30, Washington state's Steve Wiebe now holds the world record once again with a score of 1,062,800, besting Billy Mitchell's July 31 title.

Billy Mitchell was the first world record holder in the game of Donkey Kong, achieving this feat back in 1982, officially recognized by Twin Galaxies (Videogame authority). Billy has been recognized as somewhat of a prophet when it comes to arcade gaming, being called the "greatest arcade "€œvideogame player of all time". His score went untouched for years.
