Ellen McLain Will Be Voicing Characters in DOTA 2
Ellen McLain, who is known for voicing the Administrator in Team Fortress 2 and GlaDOS in the Portal series, will be returning to voice a couple of characters in DOTA 2 (according to an article on Joystiq). DOTA 2 (aka Defense of the Ancients, aka the reason why my homework was neglected in college) will be released sometime (read: Valve Time) in 2012.
In a recent interview, Ellen stated that she and her husband John Patrick Lowrie (who voices the Sniper in Team Fortress 2) will be voicing an assortment of characters for [...]

Chinese's Rip Off of Team Fortress 2 Surfaces Itself Again with More Plagiarism
Back in July,Kotaku reported about the Team Fortress 2 ripoff "Final Combat". Frankly, when the news got to me (the biggest TF2 fan in Arizona), my eyes began to twitch and I nearly blew a gasket due to the built up rage of hearing suchplagiarism. I was going to write a very wordy blog about how Xunlei, the Chinese company making this game, should be thrown into space and never be heard from again and how unfair it is that Valve cannot touch this game because of international [...]

Portal 2's newest character addition is Jonah Jameson from Spiderman?
Seen here on this information released from PAX East, Valve's sequel to the masterpiece that is Portal, Portal 2, will feature some high quality voice acting, especially when that voice acting is coming from J.K. Simmons. J.K. Simmons is best known for playing roles such as President Ackerman in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Jonah Jameson in all three of theSpiderman movies, and as of now, Cave Johnson, the CEO and mastermind behind Aperture Science in Portal 2. As if the game wasn't epic enough they gotta put one of [...]

Ever play TF2 and notice how every Scout spams the voice command "NEED A SENTRY HERE" over and over and over till an Engineer (most likely me) gives in and builds a sentry? Well apparently I guess there's an annoying Scout at Valve's HQ and I guess the programmers there decided to give in like I do. Only thing is, their sentry is real (well except for the shooting bullets part).
Actually the team behind Team Fortress 2 got to visit Weta Workshop (the same people who did animatronic work for the Lord of the Rings movies and the upcoming The [...]
