Watch Dogs will have an interesting multiplayer options that will allow other online players to join uninvited to an open sessions, from which they can choose to do a variety of things.
The full multiplayer experience has not yet been detailed, but it's understood that the system will allow other players to drop in and out as they please, and this opens up open lobbied players to a lot of potential griefing.
Whilst the option is there for players to work together, Ubisoft has taken into consideration that some bad eggs may attempt to join open lobbies simply to ruin the experience of others, and according to lead game designer Danny Belanger, there will be a bunch of integrated features to allow lobby hosts to combat griefing.
Firstly, if players simply want to play on their own, they can completely switch off the drop in, drop out multiplayer, which will completely cut any ties with any other players, and allow people to play through the game by themselves as a single

A new comparison of various released footage of Watch Dogs has revealed something - as the game has progressed, the graphics seemed to have been downgraded, and from the first footage we saw in 2012, to the graphics shown this month in March, there is a considerable difference between the graphical quality of both builds.
In a world where console fans argue about the importance of 1080p over 720p, this is a huge thing, and there has been a lot of backlash about it.
The new story trailer that was released this week shows that the graphics in Watch Dogs have certainly been reduced from the original build shown in 2012, and since then fans have been pretty angry at Ubisoft for doing this.
A Ubisoft PR member talked about the whole controversy on twitter, and she discussed that, although graphics are great, gameplay is more important. On top of this, she seems to suggest that the graphics have not been downgraded in any way.
It's important to note that this was from

Along with Watch Dogs, Tom Clancy's the Division is one of the few upcoming games I'm truly looking forward to. The game looks like a lot of great fun, and I've always been a fan of the Tom Clancy games.
If you're looking forward to the game as much as I am, you'll be excited to see some newly released screenshots of the game.
So far, not only is Tom Clancy's the Division looking to be one of the most interesting upcoming games in terms of playability, but it's starting to look very, very impressive in terms of graphical quality too.
The Snowdrop engine that is running Tom Clancy's the Division should make sure that the game looks beautiful and plays incredibly smoothly, but as always with "press ready" screenshots like these, we'll have to expect that these screenshots have been taken in the best environment possible, and i'm eagerly awaiting some true, unscripted gameplay footage.
Some gamers are speaking their concerns about the Division, and are worried that

Well I don't think fans would really mind if Assassin's Creed took a year off. The fact that a lot of them were not happy with the idea of Assassin's Creed 4 coming out so quickly was subdued because the game was good, but fear is rising that this franchise is turning into Call of Duty.
But lo behold, recent rumors suggest that Ubisoft might not be just coming out with one, but two Assassin's Creed installments for 2014. One of the games are supposedly being developed just for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U while the other is being developed for the PS4 and Xbox One. In addition to that, the franchise is supposedly attempting a "massive re-scope"

Whilst all of the downloadable content for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was announced at it’s launch by Ubisoft, full details and pricing outside of the season pass was not given.
This week, Ubisoft has released the first DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed IV. The first pack is the previously announced character pack that includes three new characters that will be playable in the game’s multiplayer.
The first character is Blackbeard, one of the main characters in the story campaign. The second character is the Orchid, a deadly Assassin that grew up in China, and the third character is the Jaguar, an Aztec warrior from Mexico.
I could imagine each three characters would have a different playstyle, with Blackbeard being the most in your face, strength based character, the Orchid being the weaker, but more subtle assassin character, and the Jaguar being a mixture of the two.
The DLC pack is called Blackbeard's Wrath and will also add new achievements and trophies

It looks as if historical accuracy is something that really matters to Ubisoft, and to show that, they have made a brand new video showing off the various types of in-game weapons you'll be able to get in Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag.
On top of this, the video gives a quick preview of the port of Genoa, a location that will probably play an important part in the story.
The video includes a rather energetic historical weapons expert discussing the variety of weapons available to the pirates at the time. He makes a mention of guns, knives, swords and even grenades, but also talks about psychological warfare, a method used by pirates to scare and intimidate their enemies into surrender.
The whole concept behind pirates is a scary one, and if you were out at sea, pirates would be the worst thing you could bump into. It will be interesting to see what kind of options we have open to enable us to scare our enemies into submission.
Along with psychological warfare,

It has been revealed that Ubisoft will be developing extra DLC content for two of their most anticipated games and that the content will be a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
Both Watch Dogs and Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag will have DLC released on the PlayStation 4 before the Xbox One, forcing users to either purchase a PlayStation 4 to get the content early or wait it out for longer to receive the same content on the Xbox One.
Despite Sony not having made an official statement on this matter, a new Sony video showcasing both Assassins' Creed and Watch Dogs has suggested that the timed exclusive DLC content will be available on the PlayStation 4 six months before the Xbox One.
This information was found within the small print of the video, but even with the internet now aware

The next gen line up so far has looked absolutely amazing, and many games have sparked interest towards both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
It seems that the golden launch was a little too good to be true though, as Drive Club, and now Watch Dogs have been set back to ensure the games are truly 100% complete.
Whilst this is a bit of a shame because we won't be able to play these games on launch day, it is good that developers are taking extra time to make sure their games are the best that they can be.
I'm hoping that's the case with Watch Dogs, as Ubisoft have confirmed that the game will be delayed till spring 2014.
Ubisoft made an official statement on the delay, with CEO Alain Martinez giving his humblest apologies and reasoning's behind the

Following suite with many other popular video game franchises, Ubisoft have decided to reveal details on downloadable content and season passes for Assassins' Creed 4: Black Flag before its release date.
There will be a range of different DLC packs available as part of a season pass set which will include extra content to the game like new multiplayer characters and new missions.
These packs will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and will all be released before March 2014. The season pass will be available at launch however, and will cost the same as all DLC packs with the inclusion of a 20% discount.
With the season pass, players will be able to download Black Flag content packs as soon as they become available without paying any for any other fees.
Whilst the pricing has not yet been released, Ubisoft have released a trailer to showcase what the DLC

Ubisoft have been pretty open about the kind of game Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag is shaping up to be, and this week they have released a trailer which reveals the infamous pirates you will meet in the game.
Matt Ryan, the voice actor for Edward Kenway narrates the trailer and talks about the various different important pirate characters in the game.
Matt Ryan first begins with Edward Kenway, and talks about how he is still quite a young person within, and describes his rowdiness and love for alcohol.
The trailer then goes on to feature Captain Blackbeard- the character that mentors and teaches Edward Kenway. Matt also discusses many other pirates such as Captain Hornigold, a character who has his own unbreakable honor code. For example, he will not destroy British ships.
The story in Assassins Creed IV is certainly shaping up to be something worth playing, and tells the story of a young man who grows up and learns from the best of the best Assassins, pirates
