We've just rolled into a new month, and that means it's time to talk about the next Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup. We've got quite a few treats in store this week, including some Xbox 360 retail titles, as well as a couple digital-based Xbox One games.
Firstly, Xbox One owners with Xbox Gold will be able to treat themselves with Crimson Dragon, an Xbox exclusive that saw itself as one of the few available Xbox One launch titles the day the console was released. Crimson Dragon is an indirect sequel to Panzer Dragoon, a game that made it's rounds on the Original Xbox many years ago. Crimson Dragon will be available all the way throughout the month.
Alongside Crimson Dragon, Xbox Live gold subscribers will be able to get their hands on Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut, which made it to reality after successfully being backed on Kickstarter. Both Xbox One games are available till August 31st.
As for the Xbox 360, players will be able to pick up Motocross Madness, a Trials

Being able to play the last generation of games on a brand new console may seem like a bit of a gimmick at first, but it is an incredibly useful feature that could help many gamers that are on a budget.
Being able to trade in your Xbox 360 console to help cut down on the costs of the Xbox One is a great option to have, but after building up years worth of games, it may not be that easy for many gamers to give that all up. This is why Xbox 360 emulation on an Xbox One would be immensely handy. In fact, while they're at it, if Microsoft could make the Xbox One support original Xbox games as well, that'd be incredibly useful.
Whilst Microsoft never revealed any plans to have such a feature on the Xbox One, recently Frank Savage, partner development lead at Xbox, revealed that it's not entirely out of the question. When asked whether there were plans to bring an Xbox 360 emulation system to the Xbox One, Frank replied with "There are, but we're not done thinking them through yet,

Whilst Titanfall has already been out for a while on both PC and Xbox One, Respawn Entertainment did originally plan for the title to have an Xbox 360 version released on the same date, too.
However, delays in the development for the last gen port meant that the original release date had to be pushed back for the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, but it's finally almost time for the game to release, and despite previous concerns, it's looking like it may run fairly smoothly on the old machine.
Whilst development for the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall was handed down to Bluepoint Games, things should not be very different to the PC or Xbox One versions. Senior producer of the Titanfall 360 port, Daryl Allison, stated that despite the Xbox 360 being inferior in terms of hardware capability, the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall won't have any limitations.
"Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it,

If you can excuse the strange choice of music, I have something very exciting to show you. It's a brand new trailer headed for UK cinemas, and it shows some pretty intense footage of Darks Souls 2 in action.
The trailer focuses on an iron-clad hero as he battles through numerous enemies, takes down a dragon, and goes through various forms of terrain. I know that the trailer doesn't really represent actual gameplay footage, but it still looks absolutely awesome.
I was very interested in the first Dark Souls game but have yet to play it unfortunately, but I have heard many great things from the game, so this looks like a very nice treat, especially for anybody that has played the first game.
The trailer seemed to be directly advertising the Black Armor Edition and the Collector's Edition of the game, and showed both copies with their exclusive goodies at the end of the trailer. The Black Armor Edition comes with the game, the title's soundtrack, as well as early access

Over the last half decade, it's become quite a popular thing for developers to make remakes of their old games. I'm not just talking about new re-imagined versions of games, either, I'm talking literal ports of ancient titles with nothing new added to it other than an HD skin, in most cases.
Personally, I always feel the idea behind playing an old game is for the nostalgia value, and HD remakes always ruin that for me a little, however if you're a fan of HD remakes, you may want to keep get your wallet out because the original Far Cry game is about to join the likes of Goldeneye, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Fable: The Lost Chapters, among others.
A Far Cry Classic remake has been rumored for a while now, and it has finally been released to the public, however details are still a bit blurry. Ubisoft seemed to have messed up a little with the promotion of the project, and despite development time being put in the remake to add revamped cutscenes, enhanced graphics and a new interface,

Unfortunately, Batman: Arkham Origins hasn't been released without some issues, and a lot of players have made remarks about bugs and glitches currently in the game. It seems quite a common occurrence these days to have a game released by a triple A development team that is filled with bugs, glitches and errors that really shouldn't be in the game at all.
It's ridiculously frustrating for the average gamer, and it makes us feel a bit used, really. It feels as if developers and publishers are simply using our love for games as a way to get to our wallets, and this story will just make us all even angrier.
What's really terrible about the bugs in Batman: Arkham Origins is that Warner Bros. know exactly what bugs are in the game, thanks to the dozens of reports spread across the internet, but despite this, they seem reluctant to do anything about them.
And the reason why Warner Bros. isn't in a hurry to fix the bugs in Arkham Origins is because they are focusing on something

For some of you, news of concept art might sound a bit boring. It's one of the major milestones in game development though, and you can usually get a pretty good idea of how a game is going to look through concept art.
Some new concept art has been shown of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I'm pretty happy to see that the world is shaping up to be pretty magnificent.
The graphics on the previous Dragon Age games have never been stunning, but they've certainly never been bad enough to put you off playing the game, and I expect that Dragon Age: Inquisition will have graphics that are slightly more impressive than the previous title, even if it has been announced to be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3, along with next generation versions.
The concept that has been shown gives us the impression the Inquisition will take place in the same grimy & mythical environments as the previous games, and a lot of the huge open atmospheric spaces that you usually find yourself stumbling

If you haven't got enough online DC face-smashing action out of Injustice: Gods Among Us or Batman Arkham: Origins, you may want to put your copy of Batman Arkham Origins into your Xbox or PlayStation as Warner Bros. have just released a new patch that adds an online multiplayer mode into the game.
The new online multiplayer mode has been named 'Hunter, Hunted' and it splits players into three different teams. The first team is a three man team of Bane's thugs, the second is a similarly sized team of the Joker's thugs, and the last team is of course Batman.
The game is in essence a team-based elimination game mode because after a player is downed, he or she

Whilst all of the downloadable content for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was announced at it’s launch by Ubisoft, full details and pricing outside of the season pass was not given.
This week, Ubisoft has released the first DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed IV. The first pack is the previously announced character pack that includes three new characters that will be playable in the game’s multiplayer.
The first character is Blackbeard, one of the main characters in the story campaign. The second character is the Orchid, a deadly Assassin that grew up in China, and the third character is the Jaguar, an Aztec warrior from Mexico.
I could imagine each three characters would have a different playstyle, with Blackbeard being the most in your face, strength based character, the Orchid being the weaker, but more subtle assassin character, and the Jaguar being a mixture of the two.
The DLC pack is called Blackbeard's Wrath and will also add new achievements and trophies

To say sorry for all of the problems since the launch of the game on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3, DICE manager Karl Magnus Troedssen has announced that all players will be offered double EXP for a whole week for all of the games they play within the double EXP week period.
The week will start on November 28th and will end on December 5th, and although it hasn't been confirmed yet, we assume this will apply to all consoles, including the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
On top of the double EXP, players who play the game on December 5th will receive an exclusive weapon. Karl Magnus Troedssen said "On December 5 we will give all players that log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer a M1911 pistol scope," said Troedsson. "This special sidearm scope, previously reserved for our DICE developers,
