Creative Assembly have released plans on their upcoming survival horror video game set in the Alien world called Alien Isolation, and if everything goes to plan, the new game should be available this October.
Creative Assembly lead creative Alistair Hope released a statement saying, "We couldn't be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation. The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It's the Alien game that we've always wanted to play and we can't wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall."
Creative Assembly revealed the title at this years' EGX Rezzed on Saturday, and Creative, along with their publisher, SEGA, have high hopes for the title.
So far, not too much is known about the gameplay content, however it is clear that Alien Isolation will follow the story of Ellen Ripley’s daughter. Amanda Ripley will face various scares and thrills throughout the game, and a lot of gamers seem to be pretty excited for the upcoming title.
The game has been praised for it's intense, scary moments, and I think Creative Assembly may have given the Alien series what it deserves this time round.
Alien Isolation will be a cross platform title, and will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on October 7th as long as everything goes to plan leading up to that date.
