A new monthly subscription pass will be put into effect by Sony Online Entertainment this year to allow players to get the most out of all SoE titles whilst cutting down on costs spent within each game.
The "All Access" subscription will be available for purchase starting this April, and it will cost $14.99 per month. This new all access SoE subscription will replace the previous SoE pass that currently costs $19.99.
The $14.99 per month subscription will give players the option to opt-in to special offers and loyalty rewards, and will also offer monthly rewards every month a player logs in. This will include 500 station cash per month, as well as a 10% discount on all marketplaces within SoE online games.
F2P players will not be affected in anyway, and this simply opens up options for those who already spend a fair amount of money on SoE titles each month.
So far, there has been no details on whether such a subscription will come to consoles, but with the recent news of EverQuest Next and PlanetSide 2 on the way to the PlayStation 4, it would not surprise me if a console all access pass was also made available some time later this year.
I doubt this subscription would benefits anybody that only plays one game out of the range of SoE titles, but if you do play an SoE game like PlanetSide 2, and hope to play EverQuest Next when it launches, you'll be happy to hear that deals for EverQuest will be included in the all access subscription.
