A new gaming event set for April 2017 has been announced by CEO.
The event has been named CEO Dreamland and it will have a focus on Smash tournaments, but there will be other events taking place as well.
A statement on the CEO Dreamland website read, "We would like to show the love back and host an event dedicated to all things Super Smash Bros and more for the Florida Community and beyond. This will be an event bringing together the smash communities and giving them the opportunity to level up before the busy summer season of big tournaments."
The event will include Super Smash Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros 64, Brawhlhalla and Rivals of Aether as the five games for the five main tournaments. Registration will open up in December, and players will need to sign up via Smash.gg and take part in the qualifiers to be in with a chance of attending the CEO Dreamland event.
The dates have been locked in for April 14 to April 16, making it a three-day affair. More details, such as cash prices, booking, hotel deals and tournament rules will be made available soon.
Because the tournament event will be coinciding with Easter, the CEO team also plans to run a live easter egg event that'll allow all attendees to take part. Once again, more details of this will be made available soon.
