Everyone seems to be surprised at the stunning success of the Nintendo Switch, as the console continues to sell like hotcakes even years after its initial release. At Evil Controllers we hear you, and we’re excited to let you know that we’re working on features for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
The Pro Controller is a premium device on its own, as it feels nice in your hands and is much better than the JoyCon controllers that attach to your console. Using the Pro Controller for the likes of Smash is a no-brainer, but we’ve been feeling like it could use a little more…
We can’t give a bunch of details on just what the features will be available at this time, but we can give you some insight into just how our controller can up your game. Manual inputs for games will be much easier with our controllers, as you can expect some of our pro gaming features to transfer over to the Switch Pro Controller model, such as improved tension, tactile buttons, and more.
While Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the biggest game for fighting on the Switch, there’s a lot of other great options out there. Mortal Kombat 11 is another game that plays well on the device, as is Dragon Ball FighterZ, and let’s not forget about the excellent Pokken Tournament.
There’s also a good range of shooters on Switch, with Wolfenstein II, Overwatch (when they fix the bugs), and Fortnite, which will all benefit from having custom Pro Controllers.
Keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll be releasing some more details in the future.
