Activision Promotes Modern Warfare 3 with High Quality Earbuds from Munitio
That's right, 9mm earphones or "earbuds" as the youngin's are calling them these days. That's the signature design for Munitio alongside their high quality sound and that they only use the highest quality of materials for its earbuds (including aircraft-grade billet aluminum, the same type used for parts on various US air force aircraft). For this special Call of Duty Edition they are making it will be designed in the signature colors of Modern Warfare which is green, black,

An anonymous source jumped at the chance to grab the domain name, modernwarfare3.com, before Activision had the chance to secure ownership. Users who plugged in this domain name were routed away from any Call of Duty website, and originally were directed to an anti-Call of Duty video. Whoever runs the domain name is making an obvious statement of displeasure against the Call of Duty franchise.
Recently, however, users who plug in modernwarfare3.com are being redirected to DICEs official Battlefield 3 website. This raises an interesting debate over who runs the website domain name. It is unlikely that the site is run by DICE or Electronic Arts, given the bad public response they would endure as a

Battlefield 3 fanbase raising the rivalry between EA and Activision
It's only been a few weeks since E3 wrapped up and already the fanbases of both games of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are standing their ground on which game will win this year's FPS rivalry. You see it in various forums, comments sections of gaming news sites like Kotaku and Digg's gaming section, and you even hear it on other games voice/text chat like Team Fortress 2 and Halo: Reach.
Now I'm a person who's usually on the fence

New development studio "Respawn Entertainment" consist of former Infinity Ward staff and Call of Duty creators
So a while back, Infinity Ward and a lot of the staff who worked on the Call of Duty franchise had a bit of tension going on (and when I mean "a bit" I mean "a large amount") due to contracts between them and Activision. In result, Jason West and Vince Zampella (who co-created the Call of Duty franchise) and nearly half of Infinity Ward's staff left the company to venture out on their

Modern Warfare 3
There have been some rumors surrounding the new Modern Warfare titleregarding a new game type called survival mode. Recently, however, it seems thatthese rumors have been confirmed and the new gameplay mode is in its beta stage.Survival mode will basically be a wave defense gameplay type that will take theplace of zombies in MW3. In my mind, I picture something similar to horde modein the Gears of War series, and if this is the case I am really excited to get to try it out. -

Activision's CEO denied competitor's game at E3.
According to some news source on the E3 floor, it seems that Bobby wanted to get his hands on his competitor's game at a behind-closed doors event at E3. Sources tell us that Kotick's assistant hopped to the front of the EA line on Wednesday morning of E3 requesting (on behalf of Kotick) for the Activision CEO to try Battlefield 3.
There were discussions for a while until anEA representative showed up and explained that senior management had been informed

So after watching the video The Legend of Karl: An introduction to Elite gaming, there are multiple questions that pop to the forefront of every gamers mind. Is the Elite feature going to be so sick, that it will make regular free online gameplay obsolete? Or is it just a nice little perk for the Call of Duty players who take their craft a tad bit more serious than most of us? Will this be the dawn of a new social networking platform that will propel Call of Duty to a level equivalent of professional sports? Okay that last bit was a stretch, I know, but still, the ramifications of Elite are still yet to be ascertained.
So before everybody starts freaking out about how Call of Duty is going to become too expensive ala World of Warcraft, or that Activision has decided to sell our souls for more money, lets take a moment to examine what it is that the Elite package entails. Factor number 1: you are going to have pay monthly if you want Elite. While,
