Battlefield 3's Beta is Looking Sharp and Fine
While it's a bit to early to claim Battlefield 3 to have a major lead over Modern Warfare 3, it is safe to say that it has a slight edge over its rival when it comes to an interface. You can see the images here, which while are unofficial and not endorsed by EA, they really show off what we will be interacting with a lot. And I have to say, it's very sleek and well thought out.

Fans of Battlefield 3 on the PC Should Update their Drivers ASAP
According to an article on Kotaku, if you going to play Battlefield 3 on your PC, it is best to ensure that your graphics card's drivers are up to date and up to par with the demand of Battlefield's hardware requirements. If you're a PC gamer like me (don't worry I'm also a console gamer as well), it should be common practice for you to do so before playing any major game you buy

Team Ninja Claims It Was Nintendo's Fault on How Other M Turned Out
From this article on Kotaku, Metroid's last installment, Other M, decided to take some risks and liberties with the game and its universe inside of it. And frankly, when you take risks you either succeed or fail. Unfortunately for Nintendo, while the game did rake in a nice bit of coin, it was deemed a failure due to the fan reception it got.

Cultural Differences Prevented Rock Band from Being Huge in Japan
A while back, Rock Band came out of nowhere and exploded in popularity all over the United States, Europe, Australia, nearly everywhere....except for Japan. There must be a reason for why the Harmonix's biggest introduction to music-themed video games didn't make its way to the land of the rising sun.
According to this article on Kotaku, there are several reasons

Random Thoughts about Avoiding a Dirty, Greasy, and/or Messy Controller.
So on Speak Up article on Kotaku about dirty controllers it came to my attention that over the years of gaming since I was a young kid that I've been always struggling with the problem about messed up and greasy controllers. We, as a gaming society, tend to take our consoles' controllers for granted and do abusive things to them. We get dust on them, weunknowinglycough on them

The Kinect is being used to monitor your elders' health.
Before we venture into this topic, I have to say this: the idea of being alone in your older years is a horrible idea to think about, especially when you are getting on your years. With technology and society changing at every second and minute, we will barely be able to keep up with everyone and everything.
However, group of researchers at Missouri University came up with an interesting idea. They are looking to use the Kinectas a vital monitoring solution for our problems as we get older. The concept of the whole thing is fairly simple: Kinect

Signs of Microsoft Moving Away from Japanese Market are Showing.
After years and years of promoting the Xbox 360 in Japan, Microsoft still only sells around 2,000 a week in the land of the rising sun. Last week, sales statistics showed that the XBox 360 was being outsold by Playstation 2 consoles. Mind boggling isn't it?
And with the Tokyo Game Show coming up later this year, Microsoft of Japan is showing that they are making a slow withdraw from the region. Proof is shown as its booth at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show is smaller than Capcom's, Namco Bandai's,
