A brand new trailer for EA's, DICE's and Visceral Game's upcoming Battlefield Hardline shows off a brand new unannounced game mode called Hotwire.
In the new trailer, the Hotwire game mode is explained as a cops n' criminals themed car chase that gives criminals the opportunity to steal numerous marked cars within a level. The cops, in response, must try to recover the marked cars.
Players in the passenger seat of the marked vehicles will be able to shoot at others whilst the driver is controlling the vehicle, so I expect Hotwire will end up being quite chaotic.
The trailer honestly makes Hotwire look like a fast paced enjoyable game mode that takes a fresh approach on the typical FPS game modes already seen within the game. However, whilst Hotwire is explained as a game mode with 'high speed chases' I doubt it will turn out to be anything like a race from Need for Speed, and sounds more like a vehicle control gametype similar to party modes we've already seen in games

EA has done another move to make sure that players of their published games will never respect them by placing advertisements within Battlefield 4.
Despite the title being $60, and premium and DLC content reaching upwards of $110, EA still feels like they can squeeze more money out of the title. From now on, when players start playing Battlefield 4, they will be greeted with an advertisement for the premiere of the Need for Speed movie.
These advertisements can also be seen on the loading screen, and whilst they aren't particularly in the way of any actual game content, it has frustrated a lot of players, and I think they have good reason to be frustrated.
For starters, Battlefield 4 has been struck with countless bugs, glitches exploits, and most annoyingly, server issues, some of which have still not been resolved today. Despite this EA keep pushing DICE to put out more DLC content instead of working on the major issues, and now these new advertisements really make

An article keeps popping up on Computerandvideogames, and in fact, at the time of writing, it was the most popular post on the entire website, despite it being written around 4 years ago. The article reveals a story about DICE, and their overall succumb to publisher pressure, and the article, four years later, is filled with irony and unfortunately, not of the funny kind.
The article depicts an interview with DICE's senior producer at the time with Xbox World 360 Magazine asking all of the questions. One question that made the title of the article was about paid-for content, maps and DLC.
At the time a DLC pack for Modern Warfare 2 was released for 1200 Microsoft Points, however, it was met with quite a lot of frowns on that day. The reason for this was because DICE had released a free DLC pack on the exact same day for their game at the time, Battlefield Bad Company 2.
When asked about all of this, Patrick Bach, DICE's senior producer at the time, stated

There was a certain trend for many top publishers last year - the likes of Activision and EA seem to be pushing their developers to the limits by trying to release games as quickly as possible to reduce any possible competition in the market and ensure that games like Call of Duty or Battlefield are bringing in nice, fluid streams of revenue.
The problem with this is that on our end of the stick, we're often handed a mangled, chewed up representation of what the developers originally had envisioned. Both Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty Ghosts had their issues at launch, and DICE and EA are still going through the problems with Battlefield 4 today.
This makes the average gamer feel a little cheated on, really, and at least for me personally, I hope that this kind of tactic changes.
One game that I'd happily wait for is Watch Dogs, and despite it's delay, I'm still excited as ever for the release of the game.
According to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter,

There have been so many different Star Wars video games over the years, from Lego Star Wars, a game that started a whole new kid-friendly franchise for Lego, to The Knights of the Old Republic, an RPG that blew the minds of gamers back in the original Xbox days, and it was sad to hear that the recent acquisition by Disney meant that new Star Wars video game projects have pretty much been cancelled and abandoned.
One of those projects was Star Wars 1313 - a game that took a deeper delve into the story of the origins of Boba Fett, a character that has probably been considered one of the best in Star Wars history, despite not really showing his face in the original trilogy for very long at all.
The game was planned to be an action adventure title, and details on development had been leaking out since early 2012. Unfortunately though, with the closure of LucasArts, it's future looked pretty bleak.
This week, Disney abandoned the trademark for the title, which pretty much

Since it's release, Battlefield 4 has been a fairly successful title that has brought in gamers from the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and now the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but despite being out for over a month now, players are still reporting problems and issues with the game. However, DICE have been working on it since launch and are spending a lot of time into pushing out patches to fix the bugs.
A new patch has been released by DICE to fix various bugs and glitches, including the "one hit kill" bug that allowed players to kill enemies with one hit to the head, even when using assault rifles that don't do 100% damage even when the 2x headshot multiplier is added.
A few other bug fixes were applied in this week's patch as well, including a few audio issues, some graphics effects, and worked on some crashes, freezes and network issues. Whilst the main platform for this patch was for PC, it also applies to the Xbox One which will also have fixes for stability and performance.

To say sorry for all of the problems since the launch of the game on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3, DICE manager Karl Magnus Troedssen has announced that all players will be offered double EXP for a whole week for all of the games they play within the double EXP week period.
The week will start on November 28th and will end on December 5th, and although it hasn't been confirmed yet, we assume this will apply to all consoles, including the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
On top of the double EXP, players who play the game on December 5th will receive an exclusive weapon. Karl Magnus Troedssen said "On December 5 we will give all players that log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer a M1911 pistol scope," said Troedsson. "This special sidearm scope, previously reserved for our DICE developers,

After a successful launch on PC and current gen consoles worldwide, DICE has announced four new maps that will be available in their first upcoming Battlefield 4 DLC pack, which has been named Second Assault.
All four of the maps available in the BF4 Second Assault DLC will be redesigned versions of Battlefield 3 player favorites, with changes to graphics and appearance, thanks to the new Frostbite 3 engine.
The four maps have been confirmed to be Operation Firestorm, Operation Metro, Caspian Border and Gulf of Oman.
We'd already heard rumors of such a DLC pack being made available shortly after the launch of Battlefield 4, but it has now been confirmed by both DICE and Microsoft in an official streamed Xbox Live event.
As well as the graphical enhancements made to the four Second Assault maps, DICE has revealed that the maps will be "enhanced to include new multiplayer features from Battlefield 4."
The new features will most likely be some kind of Levolution

All of the hype that has gone towards Battlefield 4 has gone straight towards the online multiplayer portion of the game, and whilst there will be a story driven campaign as always, all eyes are on online.
DICE seem to understand that because they have put a lot of effort into making sure the Battlefield online multiplayer experience is better than any other previous game in the series. In fact, DICE are calling the online multiplayer on Battlefield their "deepest online career ever."
So, what gives DICE such a strong pride towards their online multiplayer on Battlefield 4? Apart from the all new customizable weapons system, weapon and vehicle camo's, and the brand new progression system, there is actually quite a lot to be proud of.
"While sharing similar basics with Battlefield 3, we are now offering a cleaner upgrade path, clearer Ribbon and Medal progression, and an increased focus on richly rewarding great team play."

Despite only launching with two different gameplay modes, Conquest and Domination, DICE have just rolled out an update to the Battlefield 4 BETA to add another multiplayer game mode.
The new game mode is named Obliteration and should be available to play on all platforms that currently support the Beta. (PS3/Xbox 360/PC)
In Obliteration, a bomb will spawn in a randomly selected location on the map, and two teams will fight to pick up the bomb and then plant it in one of the three team's objective points.
As you can imagine, the bomb spawn point will be incredibly hectic, and once the bomb has gone off at an objective point, both teams will then have to fight for a new randomly placed bomb on the map.
Once a team has destroyed all three of their objectives, they will win the game. Alternatively, the game will end after the timer runs down.
In the full version of Battlefield 4, there will be a total of seven different multiplayer modes and ten different
