South Korean Company Nexon to Bid on EA for Takeover
Accord to Joystiq, Nexon, the South Korean MMO company that created Maple Story is a pretty big player in the East. It's so big, it's thinking about and looking at possibilities of buying out a competitor from the West, Electronic Arts. Yes, THAT Electronic Arts. MK Business News, a South Korean newspaper, has reported that Nexon's Japanese headquarters spoke with EA about acquiring the company. However, it is unclear what the negotiations have come to. EA isn't saying anything according to all of its representatives.

Server Rental Makes it Possible to Rent Out a Battlefield 3 Server
Being in random matches can be stressful. However, if you play Battlefield 3, then likely you don't have to worry about that from now on.
The reason why is because EA is renting out servers for your own personal use on the PS3, PC, and the Xbox 360. So that means you aren't going to be thrown into the middle of a battle where one sniper dominates the map or one lone wolf with a tank manages to squish you like a junebug over and over again. Now you can rent out a server and play with your friends and the people that you trust.
On the Xbox 360, for about $1.50 (120 Microsoft Points) per day or $25 (2000 Microsoft

EA Brings Out a Remake of Hard Hitting NFL Blitz
So if you haven't heard the news, EA sports decided to remake another popular sports series (and personally one of my favorites), NFL Blitz. Yes sir, the sports arcade title that was responsible for my love of football and hard-hitting tackles is back and remade into a high-definition arcade downloadable game.
While there are a few new modes to the game like online Blitz Battles and an Elite league where you can create dream teams via collecting cards, the main mode everyone is looking forward to is Blitz Gauntlet, where you

EA Sports Madden NFL 2012 Claims its Latest Victim
by Ryan Keeler
With the creation of John Madden Football video games in the early 1990s, it has since become a staple in NFL football gaming. Each year bettering itself from the previous, with new features and improving game play to say the least. The fact that this is one of those titles that fans line up to grab the first copies each season is overly understood in the gaming community, but not the only fun fact that attaches itself to this game year in and year out. A phenomenon that has been giving the name of the Madden Curse has claimed 12 victims of 13 athletes

Controversy Over Similar Looking Logos Is Now Taken to Court
Electronic Arts, the video games publisher, is taking the fitness supplies company Energy Armor to court. The reason why? It's due to how Energy Armor's logo looks very similar to Electronic Arts' logo and also because their company advertises its products by using athletes (like Electronic Art's does with Madden and FIFA).
While I do believe the secondary reason for the court action lawsuit is absolutely ridiculous and should be thrown out (because if that was held true, Electronic Arts could

Battlefield 3 fanbase raising the rivalry between EA and Activision
It's only been a few weeks since E3 wrapped up and already the fanbases of both games of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are standing their ground on which game will win this year's FPS rivalry. You see it in various forums, comments sections of gaming news sites like Kotaku and Digg's gaming section, and you even hear it on other games voice/text chat like Team Fortress 2 and Halo: Reach.
Now I'm a person who's usually on the fence
