It seems a lot of developers are currently very happy to team up with Sony to offer various PlayStation 4 exclusives, including Bungie, the creators of Destiny, and now it even looks like Rockstar may be doing the same.
Whilst the details are unclear, PlayStation's North American marketing vice president, John Koller. revealed to Kotaku that there would be some sort of PlayStation 4 exclusive GTA V content or 'perk' that no other platform would receive. When asked by Kotaku about PS4 exclusive content, Koller replied with "I don't think we announced anything publicly on that, but there will be." This is a pretty detail-void response, but it does tell us that something will be different about the PS4 GTA V experience.
As far as Koller is concerned, Grand Theft Auto has also been a PlayStation based franchise, and Sony's relationship with Rockstar has always been strong. Whether or not we'll see some kind of content in-game exclusive to the PlayStation 4 is unclear at this point,

Despite Destiny being prepared for an Xbox launch alongside the PlayStation version, Bungie and Sony have been getting along quite nicely, and PlayStation owners will be able to benefit from Bungie and Sony's new found relationship.
According to a few product listings for Destiny on various retailer websites, including Amazon, the PlayStation 3 and 4 versions of Destiny will receive content that could remain exclusive to Sony until Fall 2015, a whole year after the game's release date.
Destiny on the PlayStation will receive a bunch of exclusive gear, including a Monte Carlo assault rifle, a bunch of different ships, the Hawkmoon hand cannon, and a set of apparel for each of the three classes in the game.
The PS4 and PS3 versions of Destiny will also get an exclusive co-op mission and multiplayer competitive map. All of this content will apparently be made available as a DLC pack, and according to Amazon, it will remain exclusive to Destiny till Fall 2015.

Hideo Kojima has recently unveiled new plans for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and it's sounding pretty exciting. Whilst the main experience for Metal Gear Solid V will be within the single player experience, Kojima is offering more playability by adding a few new online features to the franchise.
Players will be able to spend in-game currency on their very own mother base, a sea based facility, that will have plenty of customization potential. Interestingly, players will be able to edit and customize their own mother base both from within the game and from a smartphone device.
Kojima didn't reveal too much information, but he did state to CVG in an interview that, "People who want to create a Mother Base in a very detailed way will be able to design it through the interface, or using their smart device."
You may be wondering where the online portion of all this comes into play. As it turns out, other players will be able to infiltrate your mother base, and

If you can remember back to when DRIVECLUB was first announced, you may recall Sony announcing that there would be a free version of the game available that was exclusive to all PS Plus subscribers. Despite there not being much talk about the free PS Plus version of DRIVECLUB for a long while, it will still be made available, and this week Sony gave some details on the free version, and what content would be included in it.
PS Plus subscribers will be able to download DRIVECLUB for free onto their PlayStation 4 consoles as soon as it is released. The content in the digital free version of DRIVECLUB is slightly limited though, and it will only come with 10 different cars, and 11 race tracks. All game modes will be made available on the free version of the game, despite previous rumors.
If you decide to upgrade to the full version, or simply by the Blu-ray edition of DRIVECLUB, you will have access to 55 tracks, 55 cars and 50 tour events, so in simplicity Sony is offering around

The EU free game lineup for PlayStation Plus subscribers has been revealed, and the available games will be put live from April 30th till the end of May. It seems Sony are constantly trying to offer more and more for their subscribers, and this month things are looking pretty special.
First up for the PlayStation 4 this month is Stick it to The Man, a strange and wacky title that probably wouldn't be something you'd consider buying, but surprisingly has a few hours worth of fun content in.
On the PlayStation 3, Payday 2 will be made available for free this month. In Payday 2, players can team up with their friends to complete bank robberies, jewelry store heists, and much more. The game is fairly new and is definitely worth checking out. After collecting stolen goods, you can transfer the cash to your in-game account and purchase new weapons, gear and unlock special abilities.
Puppeteer has also been made available for free in May - this title follows the story of a

Last week we mentioned that Destiny isn't too far away from being ready to ship out, and despite all of the waiting, it really isn't all that long before we'll all be able to get our hands on it. Bungie has always been one of my favorite games developers, so for me it's exciting to see where Destiny goes.
Recently Bungie released three separate videos showing off all three classes in Destiny with in-game footage, and whilst each video only lasted about 20 seconds, they pretty clearly showed what kind of experience we can expect from the combat in Destiny.
In Destiny, the three classes available are the Titan, the Warlock and the Hunter. Each class falls into a different role in co-op situations, and with most class based games, each class has their advantages and disadvantages.
For example, the Titan is a tank-like class that has a hefty amount of health and armor, but as a trade-off, this character does not have as many damage dealing capabilities.

The Last of Us was definitely one of the best games of 2013, and with it being right on the edge of a console generation shift, it wasn't strange for many fans of the game to wonder whether the title would ever be remade and resold as a next gen title.
Of course, at the time the likelihood of this actually happening to the Last of Us was pretty low, but since then it seems that Naughty Dog have went over their choices and have decided to go full steam ahead with a relaunch for The Last of Us on the PlayStation 4.
The name of the PS4 title will be The Last of Us Remastered, and as the name suggests, the game won't simply be ported to PlayStation 4. It will be fine tuned, tweaked and improved. Some of the changes include a resolution upgrade to 1080p and higher detailed character models.
All of the shadows, textures and lighting will be redone for The Last of Us Remastered, too. To bundle it all up, Naughty Dog have got back together with the voice actors of the game

If you've been playing Titanfall at all over the last few weeks, you may have noticed that the team balancing system in place doesn't really feel like it's there at all. In fact, as it stands, it seems just as likely to have a full team of generation pilots against a team of new players, as it is to have a fair, balance game across both teams.
However, this is likely to change in the future, and Respawn Entertainment have already addressed it as an issue. In fact, Respawn have already worked on a system that should sort out the matchmaking balancing issues, and it should be available in the game in the near future.
For the time being, the new updated matchmaking system has been pushed out to a small beta server that players have access to. In the beta server, and all other servers once the full matchmaking balancing update goes live, the game will spend more time looking for equal matches instead of simply jumping to the most optimized game as quickly as possible.
