Rockstar has just released a brand new trailer for GTA Online which shows off a new expansion heading to the streets of Los Santos. The new GTA Online expansion will be available for all players at no charge, but unlike previous content expansions, it will be adding some major game adjustments, especially to the way customizing player vehicles works.
The new update is called GTA Online: Lowriders and it will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 20th. In the update, a new customs shop will open downtown called Benny's Original Motor Works. Players will also be able to head to a new website in-game that will include a number of new customizable vehicles.
Some of the new vehicles will feature new functions that can be accessed from the player interaction menu. These functions include the ability to open up the vehicle doors, hood and trunk, switch on the engine and flash your lights.
The new Lowriders update will also add some new content to GTA Online, including

The Ill-Gotten Gains update was released earlier in the year for GTA Online but Rockstar had already had plans at that time to release a part 2 of the Ill-Gotten Gains update. Rockstar has now announced that the second part of the update will be coming out next week.
Part 2 of the Ill-Gotten Gains update will be pushed out to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on July 8. Just like the first part of the update, the next Ill-Gotten Gains update will add a number of new clothing items, vehicles and other purchasable content.
The 2nd update will also add the new radio station, The Lab, to consoles. Previously The Lab was released on PC but it will now be pushed out to all other platforms as well.
So far Rockstar has not mentioned what content will be added to part 2 of the Ill-Gotten Gains update but it is assumed that we'll be hearing a bit more about exactly what we can expect a little closer to the release date. On top of the Ill-Gotten

As you probably are aware, heists have finally been released for GTA Online. In the latest update, heists were added, as well as a few other details.
The most obvious and exciting part of the heists update is of course the heists. There are a total of five different heists in online, although the first one is a basic tutorial heist, explaining the basics for a team of two players.
The next four heists are full scale missions that can be completed with you and three of your friends. There are different difficulty modes to make the heists more challenging, and various monetary rewards in the millions for completing all of the heists with the same team members.
It's not just the heists in the new update though. Whilst Rockstar have not yet released any patch notes for it, the new update has a few other small things worth mentioning. Firstly, players can now choose to paint all of the rims in the chrome color, instead of using the single chrome plated rim.

I can't be sure whether this is a practical joke by Rockstar, or someone at their office decided to start April fools a whole four months early, but according to reports, Rockstar are gearing up to release their patch notes for a new update this month, and the exciting part is that they will contain the long awaited GTA Online heist missions.
Rockstar did of course mentioned fairly recently that the first update to come after the release of the new console ports would include the new GTA heists, but after waiting so long, it's almost quite hard to believe.
However, in the new patch notes for an update planned for December 23rd, it looks as if heists will be making their way to GTA Online, alongside other game changes. Unfortunately, this information only comes from a 'tipster' from within the development team, so we can't promise that any of this information is true or not.
Interestingly, Rockstar has tried to cover up any spread information of the new update leaks,

Rockstar have already announced that Heists will be the first thing they work on after launching GTA for the next gen consoles, but in new news it's been revealed that Rockstar will not release any content updates without releasing an update with the heists in first.
That means no more clothing packs, no more vehicles, nothing until the heists are pushed out to public servers. This is great for two reasons - firstly it means the developers of GTA 5 will be dedicated to finishing online heists, and secondly the heists will be released fairly shortly after the game's launch.
Like with many things of similar fashion, no definitive release date for online heists has been given, but all four consoles will receive it at the same time, as "the first GTA Online update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One."
After hearing complaints about the delays of online heists, Rockstar replied with a pretty standard apologetic statement "They are taking more time to create

Remember when Rockstar promised to add Heists to Grand Theft Auto Online? It's now been over a year since it's release, and GTA 5 still doesn't have any online heists.
For me, the heists seemed like one of the most appealing features of the GTA Online mode, but since the release of the online portion of GTA, there has been delay after delay, forcing Rockstar to push back the release of heists for a long time.
One of the main reasons why heists for GTA Online were delayed for so long was due to the large amount of hackers that entered their way into the game, and this caused Rockstar to refocus their attention on exploits that many hackers were taking advantage of.
Since then, Rockstar have been working on filling the new gen ports with as many new features as possible, and this has understandably left the GTA development team to put even less focus on the GTA Online heists.
Luckily, Rockstar have addressed the online heist delays, and they have stated that heists

The GTA Online content creator has done itself proud. Ever since it's launch, players have been creating their very own content to keep themselves entertained within the world of GTA Online. Occasionally, we'll see some super great jobs from the content creator, and these often end up becoming Rockstar verified, meaning that they get thrown into the pool of jobs Rockstar have created themselves.
This week, 10 new jobs have been added to the Rockstar verified section, including a bunch of missions related to the recent Hipster content update. Below, details of the various new jobs can be seen.
1. Dubsta Warz - created by Darteyld: Put the climbing ability of your new Dubsta to the test in this point-to-point Race where roads are for the weak. Starting out on Chumash Beach, get to the edge of the Grand Senora Desert as the crow flies, crossing mountains and scaling vertiginous slopes under twilight.
2. The 80's Turf War - created by GAMRZ_UK_SLiCkZ3: This neighborhood

GTA Online had a rocky start, but after all of the bugs and server issues were ironed out, it has been clean sailing for a lot of player since then. However, that all changed over the Christmas period when a huge surge of exploits, hacks, cheats and glitches came in that completely ruined the economy and made getting a shiny new Adder as easy as buying your first new pair of pants.
The newest title update for Grand Theft Auto V, update 1.09, has been release to try and combat all of the recent going-ons and happenings, and with no real content released in the latest update, it's clear that these problems have slowed down content production just a little bit.
The biggest change for any wannabe cheater is that Rockstar have now improved and bolstered up their anti-cheat system. It's so far unknown how effective it will be, but hopefully it will be able to do a good job at catching the culprits, and won't bring up any false negatives.
A lot of the glitches and exploits

Rockstar have been pretty generous with their Grand Theft Auto Online multiplayer game, and have given out a lot of content for free. Along with having GTA Online as a free game, and sending out free cash packs as a way to say sorry for the server problems, Rockstar are still giving out freebies.
The new free Beach Bum pack has been released, and it brings in a bunch of new content and features. The Beach Bum pack adds a new survival mission, a new race, a new team deathmatch, a new bike race and a new parachute job.
On top of this, it also brings in beach themed customization options such as tattoos clothes, haircuts and even beach themed vehicles.
The single player and story haven't been left in the dark though, and just like with Grand Theft Auto IV and the two extra DLC story content packs, Rockstar has announced that there will be new story content available in the future for Grand Theft Auto V.
Whilst Rockstar didn't give any information other than stating

It has been confirmed by Rockstar that the first GTA Online title update will arrive this week, along with the first stimulus package containing $250,000 for all players that have had to deal with the GTA Online launch problems on the first week.
The 1.05 patch should be out sometime this week, and will fix some issues with character save problems, loss of data, reputation level, and other in-game personal belongings like cash and personal vehicles.
Because of all of the trouble players have had to deal with since the launch of the online portion of the game, Rockstar has previously revealed that they will be gifting $500k in-game money to all players that play the game within the first month of release.
To stop the influx of money from completely ruining the in-game economy and stock trading systems, Rockstar has decided to split the $500k gift into two $250k stimulus packages.
The first Stimulus package was meant to be gifted to players in the first week of
