Grade School Student Makes a Game For His Blind Grandparent
According to Yahoo News, while most ten-year-olds are happy playing video games, that wasn't enough for Dylan Viale. Dylan has a very close relationship with his grandmother Sherry, who has been blind for decades. Due to her condition, he hasn't been able to share his love of gaming with her. So he decided to go the extra mile and make one for her as part of his entry into his school district's science fair project.

Call of Duty Might Be Slowing Down in its Sales
For some time now, it was very common to see that the new Call of Duty game would always outsell the last one. But things might have changed. As of this year, Modern Warfare 3 has sold less copies than the last Call of Duty title, Black Ops.
According to this news at Kotaku, analysts at Macquarie Equities have been tracking internal sales figures for the series for some time now. They recently have noticed that copies of MW3 are trailing sales of Black Ops by "around 4.2 percent".

"Fus Roh Dah", the shout from Skyrim that has become an Internet meme is now officially trademarked. Yes, the shout that sends things flying across rooms like a candy wrapper in a tornado, was gaining so much popularity, its creators had to lock down the ownership of the slogan.

The State of California Makes Gamestop Warn their Customers about Used Games' Online Fees
According to news from Joystiq, GameStop has settled a suit that requires the company to post signs in all of its California locations to warn their customers if certain used games have additional fees for online content. The company will also reimburse those "consumers who purchased qualifying used games" with a $10 check and a $5 coupon if they are a PowerUp Rewards members and a $5 check and a $10 coupon if they aren't.

Gearbox's Borderlands 2 is Being Influenced by Robocop?

Source indicates that Sony will actually launch its next console before Microsoft
When Sony launched the PS3 a year after Microsoft's Xbox 360, the 360 got more attention and gained the upperhand and until later on, it took some time for the PS3 to gain its ground and be an equal competitor. However the tides could change should Sony release their next generation console earlier. The Next Generation of Playstation Consoles Will Not Play Used or Past-Generation Games
Reliable sources from Kotaku's and GamesIndustry.biz indicate that Sony's next console will be ready for a holiday 2013 launch and will be called the Orbis. It's not clear if this is a codename or not, though the practice is common. Also, it's worth noticing that orbis.scedev.net does exist, and that was the way people found out what the Vita was going to be called.
Both sources also reveals several pieces of key information: Orbis will play PS3 games and it's new new hardware will be designed to block used titles from playing. Meaning that any copy of a game you get from Gamestop will no longer work in this
