Industry's biggest to make bigger changes
What is going on in the lead industry workplaces? Is it just me, or have some major companies been making some major changes? Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google will be stepping down from his role on April 4th. But, he is not leaving the company. Schmidt tweeted,Day-to-day adult supervision no longer needed! Meanwhile down at the HP headquarters 4 directors, Joel Hyatt, John Joyce, Robert Ryan and Lucille Salhany will all be stepping down. According to CNN it is due to wake of intense criticism and several shareholder lawsuits over how HP dismissed former CEO Mark Hurd. And to top off the major changes in companies, the CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs is taking a medical leave. Jobs sent out a letter

Apple CEO Sick
Heres an interest piece of gossip for those of you who frequent both our blog and potentially Perez Hiltons as well. Apparently, Steve Jobs, Apples mastermind and infamous CEO, is taking his third leave of absence since 2004 for health related issues. The length of the absence has yet to be determined.
Apple has no word on why he is taking the current leave, but in the past, Jobs has dealt with pancreatic cancer. Hopefully it has nothing to do with that!
As a result, Apple stock has already dropped by 8 percent overseas, in tandem with the announcement, although U.S. stock prices did not change.
Apple COO Tim Cook will be taking over day-to-day responsibilities until Jobs return.

Industry / Gamer News -
Obesity isn't linked to Gaming! It's no question that United States and other countries like the U.K. and Canada have been growing in its numbers of obesity lately, and a lot of blame is put on video games. Skype? There's an App for That
The iPhones FaceTime function will now be vastly improved with the addition of Skypes iOS 4 update released the middle of last week. As opposed to the prior need for a Wi-Fi connection to speak via face-to-face video conferencing, Skypes updates will allow users to connect to mobile video over both Wi-Fi and 3G.
This update will come free and is already available for download. Users will be able to call anyone able to use video conferencing, including those using PCs, laptops, and other iPhone 4 devices. Furthermore, users with the iPad or the older versions of the iPod touch (without the camera) will be able to receive video chats, but

Industry News - Stupid Burglar caught due to Facebook
All I can say is wow. You have to be pretty thick to be a criminal in my case, but this just about tops it for dimwittedness.
Apparently, a D.C. burglar thought his victims Facebook to be the best outlet to proudly flaunt his stolen prizes. Somehow, authorities have yet to catch the perpetrator, although of all the dumb things he could have done to give himself away and solidify the evidence, taking a picture of himself smirking with the stolen cash and winter jacket he took is probably at the top of the list.
The burglar broke into Washington Post writer Marc Fishers home last Friday, running away with Fishers 15 year old sons laptop, iPod, some saving bonds, cash, and a pretty nice winter coat. He then proceeded to take a picture of himself with the laptops webcam, posing and smirking with the stolen goods, and then posted it on Fishers sons Facebook page.

Rewards for being on XBOX Live!
Microsoft has now introduced its free Xbox Live Rewards program for their loyal customers. Members who participate in the program will earn Microsoft Points (the same currency used by Xbox Live) when they use the service to renew memberships, activate Netflix, purchase certain merchandise and more.
According to Major Nelson of Microsoft ( real name Larry Hryb), allparticipantswill be able to earn points while just playing games online. While its available to everyone, Gold Members get the more opportunities in comparison. This is great, in this blogger's opinion, as sometimes I feel like there should be a way to earn those points at times, because I really

Before now there were apps for Black Ops multiplayer that would tell you about stats and basic information. They would run you about 99 cents on average. But if you spend a bit more, you can get an app with more details and advantages for your online play, its called VC for Black Ops.
The VC for Black Ops app has features that are to be the remedy to a lot of headaches to those who stay glued to the game (like a lot of us, myself included). Example, not happy playing with randomly selected people who spend most of the time trying to figure out how a claymore works (or keeps running into their own)? Use the match finder to set appointments with fellow app users. Need to build your clan to dominate online -

Kratos to be performing Mortal Kombat Fatalities!
Could the God of War be the newest fatality performing combatant? Kratos has slain, decapitated, and mauled enough of his enemies that he would certain feel right at home in the Mortal Kombat universe, but is this just a Sony fanboy's dream or a reality?
As it turns out, this rumor could actually end up being true. David Jaffe, the creator of God of War has since posted the following message through his twitter @Twitter.com/davidscottjaffe:
"LOVE that Kratos is in the new MK. So bummed he's not in

Mobile Phone provider not doing so well service-wise
Bummer for you, iPhone users. According to a recent Consumer Reports study, AT&T is ranked the worst cell-phone carrier in the United States when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Consumer reports surveyed 58,000 readers, and of all major United States carriers, fell dramatically from last year and now ranks far behind all others. The detailed report has yet to be released, but, essentially, there was little chance for AT&T.
Ranking highest in customer satisfaction is U.S. Cellular

Games and News: Vanquish
I personally do not like playing third game shooters, but I might have to make an exception about Platinum Game's "Vanquish"Â. Vanquish takes place in the near future where the planet's human population has exploded so rapidly that nations of people around the globe are fighting for the scarce available resources.
To sum up the plot line for those who do not care, it's the Cold War in the future. The United States of America has attempted to alleviate its own energy problems by launching a space station harboring a solar energy-driven generator to provide them with an alternative source of fuel from the sun. However, the government of
