It's become quite a trend recently to reboot old games and refresh them with brand spanking new graphics, however, new information suggests that the Last of Us, a very new game, may be making it to the next gen in an 'HD Remake.'
This wouldn't be the first time this has happened, as only a few weeks ago Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a revamp in graphics.
This new information about the Last of Us allegedly came from a show on CNN Turk. On the show, Turkey Vice President and Market Manager of Sony Eurasia, Sercan Sulun, revealed that the Last of Us will be coming to PlayStation 4 with enhanced graphics, as well as the extra Left Behind DLC pack.
Although not Sulun's full words, the rough translation came out as "No, a sequel is not coming right now as far as I know, but I can say that the first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics."

It's been pretty clear at this point that Ubisoft is eager to keep pushing out new Assassin's Creed games each year, however there hasn't been that much information on the next entry in the series. The last game, Assassins' Creed Black Flag saw a breath of fresh air into the series, and I'm hoping that the next game manages to be unique and original enough to keep things enjoyable.
This week, after an image was leaked Ubisoft have confirmed that the next title for the Assassins' Creed series will be called Assassins' Creed: Unity.
So far, not much is really know about the next upcoming game in the series, however it's likely that the title will be directed at current gen consoles, whilst the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 will get a different title instead.
In a press release, Ubisoft stated that they have actually been working on the upcoming Assassin's' Creed game for more than three years. "We have been working on the new Assassin's Creed for more than three years

Dozens of players are reporting that they have just been banned from playing Call of Duty Ghosts in what looks to be the biggest ban wave the game has ever seen.
When connecting to servers for the first time after loading the game, banned players will be notified that they have been permanently banned due to a violation in the security and enforcement policy.
The ban wave seems to have mainly targeted both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 3, but the main reason for why players have been banned seems to be unclear. Whether or not it's related to cheating or using unfair exploits has not yet been revealed by Activision, but it seems some players are stating they have played legitimately and have been caught up in the whole commotion.
Some players seem to believe that they have unknowingly entered a hacked lobby and then backed out to avoid getting caught up with cheaters. Unfortunately this is something that players cannot avoid, as they are directed to the lobbies

EA has just rolled out a new update for FIFA 14 on the Xbox One that has been designed to fix a few issues and bugs currently present in the game.
In a statement on their forums, EA has said that "Our commitment to improve FIFA 14 is ongoing, and regular feedback from our fans helps us prioritize and identify future improvements."
"Thanks for your feedback on Twitter, Facebook and the EA forums. We'll continue to provide you with information through those channels as and when it becomes available."
The bugs and issues that the new update has fixed includes the problem where players are capable of avoiding losing games against other players by disconnecting from FIFA Ultimate Team matches. This fix was already applied to the PlayStation 4 version in February, so it's good to finally see the update hit the Xbox One.
In the same update, EA revealed that their next title, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will launch exclusively to Xbox 360 and PS3 on April 15th. The reasoning

The last Batman game let the rest of the series down a little, but it looks like Rocksteady Studios aren't looking to slow down production any time soon. New images have been shown off for the new and upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight game, and they pretty much capture everything we've already come to know and love in the dark Batman Arkham universe.
The screenshots show a few different characters and gameplay mechanics in action. The most interesting is the new batmobile game mechanic. As players are traveling through the city in Batman: Arkham Knight, players will be able to call in the batmobile whilst gliding to a landing spot.
The batmobile will smash through anything in it's way to give Batman a safe place to land. From here, players will be able to travel around the city streets with the vehicle, instead of just on foot or in the air.
If you were let down by Arkham Origins, it's important to note that Origins was developed by Warner Bros. The upcoming Arkham Knight

Despite being released late last year, the PlayStation 4 has now been confirmed to have sold 6 million units worldwide. Thanks to the recent launch in Japan, the sales have been boosted a large margin, and the 6 million sales is a huge milestone for Sony.
Sony have pushed for content sharing on the PlayStation 4, SOE's vice president of marketing, John Koller, revealed that it's sharing features have been widely accepted. "There have now been more than 3.6 million live broadcasts, and more than 56 million spectate sessions on PS4 through Twitch and Ustream," John Koller revealed in a blog post.
According to Koller, A massive 20 percent of daily broadcasters are using the PlayStation 4 as their platform, which is pretty massive considering the PS4 hasn't even been out that for that long, and the new sharing features have made the PlayStation 4 a very sociable

Drive Club has been one of the few games that has really got everybody's attention, and the recent delay in development has lead a few gamers to being fidgety and impatient. However, if a new rumored leak is anything to go by, we may now know exactly when Drive Club will be released, and it isn't that far away at all.
According to a user on PSNation, the DriveClub twitter account posted a tweet, only to have it removed seconds later. The tweet had information about the release date for Drive Club, but so far there's no proof to say what the user saw was actually real, or just a forged image.
The tweet in question read 'Mark your calendars 9.4.14' #DRIVECLUB,' which would translate to either September 4th, 2014, or April 9th, 2014. Seeing as the Drive Club developers are from Europe, it may make more sense to be in the European format, which would mean April 9th, 2014.
It could be possible that this image was the real deal, as this kind of stuff does happen every now

For all you diehard Borderlands fans out there, I have some bad news for you, Borderlands 3 is not yet in development, and it's unlikely to be developed for another few years at least. For the rest of us, this means we can get excited for more intellectual property from Gearbox, and some completely new games.
Randy Pitchford at Gearbox Games revealed to Polygon that although there won’t be a Borderlands 3 per se, there will be another Borderlands game in the works, but that it should be thought of as a much bigger project than Borderlands 2.
Pitchford stated, "When you think of what Borderlands 3 should be, it should be massive. It should be bigger and better than Borderlands 2. It should carry forward the story. It's probably crazy multiplatform, depending on timing. It would have to be a next-gen game and a current-gen game, if it was coming at any time in the reasonably near future."
He did continue on to state that there will be a Borderlands title

The next game by creator of the FPS title Blacklight Retribution is called Daylight, and it has been described to be a procedurally generated thriller with each playthrough containing new levels, thrills and puzzles to complete.
Details on the title are still pretty low key, but more information has come in this week about the game. Firstly, 1 minute's worth of gameplay content has been released in an IGN preview, and the developer gives a bit of information about the game as the gameplay is shown.
Secondly, the game has been confirmed for a set release in April, however details on whether it will be free or not have not yet been confirmed. Despite their publisher being a F2P publisher, I think Daylight will be a game developed on their own back, thanks to the support Blacklight Retribution has managed to give them, and for this reason I expect the game will have a price tag on it.
It looks strictly like a single player game, and I'm not sure how successful the title

It has pretty much been confirmed up to this point that Titanfall, at least the first game in the series, has been announced to be a Microsoft exclusive. This means that it will only be available on Microsoft platforms.
So far, a release has been set for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, and although many Microsoft representatives have already stated that it will be a lifetime exclusivity, many others aren't so sure this is the case.
One of the main reasons why I personally doubt Titanfall will stay on Xbox for the duration of it's lifetime is because EA have too much of a good chance to bring in both a huge revenue, and a massive player base if they aimed for the PlayStation 4 as well as the Xbox One.
So, unless Microsoft are paying a heavy load of money EA's way, I'd say it's very likely that future Titanfall games will be cross-platform.
I'm not the only one that believes this either. In fact, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Brand Manager Alex Moyet
