Sony has pushed through with its Vita branding and it has managed to make success out of a seemingly dead market. To improve the Vita name even more, Sony has pushed once again, and this time they have come out with something called the VitaTV.
The VitaTV is a streaming box that will be able to be purchased for just $100. However unlike other streaming boxes, it will allow owners to connect it to their TV and play PS Vita games, PS One Classics and PSP games on the big TV with a standard Dualshock 3 controller.
Amazingly you'll also be able to stream content straight from the PlayStation 4 as well. This will open up new routes for the PlayStation 4. For example, you could play split screen games across the house on multiple displays but with just one PS4 console, or easily play your PS4 games in any room in the house without having to move the console.
We'll most likely hear more about the VitaTV at TGS, and hopefully hear about a release

It seems Sony has run into another stock problem. Again. However this time it's not all that bad because instead of it being a real lack of stock, Sony are stopping pre-orders so that they have a decent amount of consoles available for customers who may want to buy it in-store or online after launch day.
Sony wants to be able to keep stock available throughout the holiday season and they believe that holding back stock now will help them to ensure that there are PS4's on the shelves every day.
"We want to make sure people can buy a PS4 on November 15 and through the holidays," SCE America's Jack Tretton said. "So, we're holding back some inventory to make sure people will be able to buy one.
"We can pre-sell every unit we can manufacture, and the good news is that production yields have been phenomenal. We're going to work very hard to make sure that every consumer that wants one gets one."
Hopefully this won't make much a difference

Microsoft Studios Vice President Phil Spencer seems to be keen on making sure the availability of the Xbox One is a whole lot better than it was for the 360 on its launch date. The most important part of this, at least in Phil Spencer's eyes is that it should be easy for those who didn't think to pre-order to be able to go in-store and buy a readily available Xbox One on launch day.
"Availability should feel a lot better than it did for 360. If people want to pick up more controllers and games, they'll be there. We feel really good about our pre-order number, and we're managing it through allocation rather than demand." Phil Spencer said in an interview to Game Informer "Pre-Order isn't the business. It's way more important to me what happens when people walk in the store. The business is selling consoles."
This is good news amid fears that even the so-far less popular choice for gamers could be out

If you were worried about Sony running out of PlayStation 4's due to production issues before, you now don't need to worry.
Firstly, Sony are pushing hard to produce as many PlayStation 4's as needed, and that high demand should hopefully be met with enough consoles spare for the shelves on launch day. A leaked image has shown boxes upon boxes of PlayStation 4's leaving a manufacturing warehouse so the PS4 is definitely now in mass production.
Another good piece of news for those that haven't pre-ordered yet is that you still have a chance to pre-order and receive a console on launch day. Amazon are ensuring that any pre-orders for the PlayStation 4 console, even if they are just being pre-ordered now, will get the pre-orderer their console on launch day.
However, if you do want to pre-order from Amazon and haven't yet, you will need to pre-order a bundled version that costs $459. This is

Despite there only being the PlayStation 4 on it's own available for pre-order at the moment, after a leak from a French retailer Sony has confirmed that there will be various bundles available on shelves on launch day.
This information was given to Videogamer at Gamescom by Sony Computer Entertainment UK chief Fergal Gara. Fergal Gara said to Videogamer that, "We're tremendously happy with our overall value proposition, whether that be the entry price point of the machine or the detailed bundles and combinations that we will put on shelf at retail which we haven't fleshed out in detail as yet."
The leaked bundle on the French website included A PlayStation 4 console, a copy of Killzone Shadowfall, two DualShock PS4 controllers, and the PlayStation camera for EUR 499.99 which translates to around $650 US dollars.
Strangely though, Killzone Shadowfall was confirmed

Quite a bit happened at Gamescom, but I was most interested in what games and consoles would receive rewards at the Gamescom 2013 Awards. This is especially interesting to find out because of the next gen console war around the corner, and the results were what many had already expected.
In the official Gamescom Awards 2013, a lot of different categories were announced. Most of the awards were already expected to win, so there really wasn't many surprises. At the forefront of the awards, Titanfall managed to bag both the best Xbox One game, and the best next generation game.
On top of this, the PlayStation 4 managed to grab the 'best hardware incl peripheral' title, leaving the Xbox One behind in the dust.
Interestingly, Forza Motorsport 5, and not Drive Club, managed to grab the best racing game award.
Destiny seemed to hold the most awards out of every winner though, and the game won Best console game on PlayStation,

If you're into collecting limited edition games at launch, you may be interested in the different COD Ghost game editions that will be available for purchase.
Whilst these aren't 100% confirmed by anyone working on Call of Duty Ghosts, it is quite likely that these retailer descriptions are the real deal and we will be seeing these packs available soon across the globe.
So far people will be able to buy the standard edition of the game, the prestige edition and the hardened edition.
The standard edition simply includes the game, whilst the other two editions include both physical and digital content.
The Hardened Edition includes:
-Military style Paracord Strap
-Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Season Pass
-Extra multiplayer map: Freefall
-Ghosts Badge Pack with extra accessories to use in-game
-Call of Duty Digital: Ghosts digital soundtrack
-Call of Duty: Ghosts Steelbook collectors edition caseThe Prestige Edition includes:

Gamescom is very close now and I expect we'll see and learn a lot from the gaming event, but what can we expect to learn about the new Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at this year's Gamescom?
Firstly, we're all expecting to learn about the launch date of the PlayStation 4- we're all hoping for a 2013 release and many rumors have lead many of us to believe a November release date is most likely. Hopefully we'll find out just when we'll be able to get our hands on a brand new PlayStation 4 very soon.
We may also be given a look into when the Xbox One will be released. Recent rumors seem to point towards the Xbox One being pushed back a little bit and everyone is uncertain whether we'll see an Xbox One this year or not.
We're also going to be hearing about a deal that will bundle a third party game with the Xbox One launch edition without bumping up the price at all. At Gamescom we'll be able to find exactly what this game is and if it will make up for

A bunch of games announced this year are frustratingly available for next gen consoles and current gen consoles. This includes titles such as Assassins' Creed IV Black Flag, Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and more. For a gamer this can be a chore because you'll never know which version to go for, or which version will be played more by your friends.
Typically, for most of these games you'll have to wait a little longer to play on the next generation consoles because the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will need to hit shelves before next-gen variants of the games are released, but there may be more benefits to play on the new consoles such as better graphics or more support a few months down the line.
To help gamers solve this predicament, GameStop will be offering gamers $50 of in-store credit if they decide to swap a current gen game to a next gen game.
Although this sounds pretty cool, there are some catches. To be eligible
