A brand new trailer for an upcoming DLC release for Rise of the Tomb Raider has been uploaded to the internet. The trailer showcases that the new DLC will be named Blood Ties and it will have some juicy new story content for players to check out.
The new DLC will be available as part of the season pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider and both PC and Xbox One players will be able to download it once it has been released.
The Blood Ties DLC for Rise of the Tomb Raider will focus on Lara's childhood home. Lara will take a visit to her home to uncover some mysteries about her past. Along the way, Lara will find out new secrets about the Croft Manor and it'll inevitably end with a zombie invasion with Lara's dream world.
We're sure you weren't expecting to see zombies in Lara Croft, we certainly weren't, but we can't deny that we're quite interested to see how the whole thing turns out. Hopefully, the new Blood Ties story content, along with the 'Lara's Nightmare' zombie invasion

Xbox has just announced their new lineup of free games for Xbox Live Gold members, and it's looking like a pretty good month. All three of the games available in March will be absolute amazing games, and there's no doubt that players will be happy about these titles.
Firstly, the Xbox One game that will be featured this month for free is Rayman Legends. This is a game that features the one and only Rayman in a new platformer experience. Rayman Legends is definitely one of the best platformers available in recent years, and I expect a lot of players will be happy to pick it up if they haven't yet.
As for the Xbox 360, two games have been lined up for March, and as per usual, one game will be available for the first half of the month, before being removed and replaced with another game on the second half of March.
Starting on March 1st, Tomb Raider, the latest reboot of the action adventure series will be put up for free. Considering the new Xbox One exclusivity deal

It obviously makes sense for any person in Phil Spencer's position to do all they can to promote the greatness of the Xbox One, but it's not all words - apparently we will be seeing a 'crazy' lineup next year for Microsoft's newest console.
Phil Spencer said in a recent podcast that, "Looking at production schedules and how things are lining up, next fall is just crazy,"
"This fall from a first party/third party standpoint is great. Next fall, honestly it's not hype at all, I honestly don't know that we can actually ship all the stuff that thinks it's trying to ship next fall. It just might be too crowded and we might purposely try to move some things out to spread it."
We already know all about how busy Fall can be for the gaming industry, but it sounds as if Phil Spencer and the Xbox crew have so many games lined up for this time next year that they'll find it hard to fit them all in.
Honestly, this is just the news we want to hear about, and it will be even

In recent news, it has been revealed that the new upcoming Tomb Raider game, Rise of the Tomb Raider, will be released as an exclusive to Xbox consoles. This information was announced at Gamescom, along with a range of other details about Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Unfortunately, the Tomb Raider panel at Gamescom did not bring any light onto the gameplay we can expect from Rise of the Tomb Raider, but it did reveal that the game will be released in the holiday period of 2015, which is just over a year away.
On top of this, Microsoft made it abundantly clear that Rise of the Tomb Raider was going to be released as an Xbox One exclusive title, despite previous listings suggesting the game would be created for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
It could be very possible that Rise of the Tomb Raider will only be a timed exclusive for the Xbox One, and will be released to the PlayStation 4 later in the year. Either way, it's interesting to see this team up between Square

Just as information about Sony's free game lineup for March was released, we're hearing rumors about what games may make it into Microsoft's similar loyalty program, Xbox Live Games with Gold.
So far, nothing has been made official, but according to WorthPlaying, a pretty reputable source when it comes to this stuff, Civilization Revolution will be one of the titles made available in this month's Games with Gold promotion.
Civ Revolution is a pretty fun game, but it has been out since 2008 now, and whilst Microsoft is offering 6 year old games to their loyal gamers, Sony is giving away free copies of Tomb Raider, a game that was released just 1 year ago.
Of course, Microsoft could be giving no games away at all, so we shouldn't really complain at these free titles, but still, it would be nice if the guys behind Xbox decided to put a bit more thought into the loyalty rewards for those paying a monthly subscription to get the most out of their consoles.
So far,

Sony have always been fairly generous with their PS Plus loyalty features, but the most appealing feature that has given many gamers a reason to subscribe is the access to the monthly PS Plus Instant Game Collection.
The Instant Game Collection is a rotation of video games that players will be able to download for free each month. At the end of the month, a new set of games is put on the rota, and the other games are no longer available for those who hadn't already redeemed them.
This month, the most recent Tomb Raider title will be put up for free for all US PlayStation Plus subscribers. The game will be the last gen version, and not the new definitive version. However, there certainly isn't any complaining to do, because Tomb Raider was a very amazing game that was released quite recently.
For PlayStation 4 owners, players will be treated to Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition. These two games will be available for the first half of the month, whilst later in the month,

So despite being originally planned for a release this Tuesday in North America, and this Friday in Europe, it seems a lot of gamers have managed to get their hands on Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition a couple of days early.
Square Enix has not said anything about a possible early release date, but a lot of visitors to GameStop's stores across the globe have confirmed that they have managed to pick up Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, despite it the confirmed release date still being days away.
Square Enix's social media profiles have suggested that they still planned for the January 28th release date for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, so it sounds as if GameStop have made a bit of a mess up, or perhaps Square Enix had a deal in place that allowed them to sell the game earlier than the intended release date.
Either way, if you have a GameStop near you, and you're looking into buying Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, you may want to stop by to see if there are any copies

New Tomb Raider Maps
Although the most enjoyable aspect of the new Tomb Raider is obviously the action-packed singleplayer, Square Enix seem confident enough with their multiplayer to bring out a new 1939 multiplayer map pack already. The new map pack is for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC, and will add two new levels to the multiplayer in the new Tomb Raider.
The new 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack will also include new weapon packs and multiplayer characters that will tie into the new maps. New content will be able to be found within each new multiplayer map, and from the details page, things are looking quite interesting.
The first

Chinese's Rip Off of Team Fortress 2 Surfaces Itself Again with More Plagiarism
Back in July,Kotaku reported about the Team Fortress 2 ripoff "Final Combat". Frankly, when the news got to me (the biggest TF2 fan in Arizona), my eyes began to twitch and I nearly blew a gasket due to the built up rage of hearing suchplagiarism. I was going to write a very wordy blog

Video Game/Movie Series to be rebooted
Seeing how box office success is now determined by the simple formula: Remake/Sequel + inaccurate trailers + big explosions = success, it seems its about time for a reboot of the Tomb Raider films, even though the original only came out in 2001 with a 2003 sequel. I guess theyre running out of old movies to remake so they have to revamp new ones. Whats next, a grittier reboot of Inception with an all new cast?
Anyways, this past Monday, GK Films announced that they had acquired the movie rights for Tomb Raider from Square Enix, and should have a new film out
