Respawn Entertainment has just announced that Titanfall will be receiving its first DLC pack later this year, some time in May. The new DLC pack has been named Expedition, and Respawn announced the pack at a panel at PAX East last weekend.
At the panel, Respawn revealed that the new Titanfall DLC pack will include three new multiplayer maps, each with their own theme.
The first map to be included in the Expedition DLC pack is Swampland, which is a map that has been based off of 'archaic alien technology.' The second Expedition map has been named Runoff, and this will be a water based map, perhaps similarly to the lagoon map already in Titanfall.
The third and final map for the new Titanfall DLC has been called War Games and it is based off of the training simulator that players play through when first starting the game. Perhaps the most interesting map is Swampland, which, according to Respawn Entertainment, will include lots of tree running parkour opportunities.

Despite the game already being in a fully released state, Respawn Entertainment are still hard at work on Titanfall, and they are adding, and have plans to add many new free features for the title in the future.
This week, a large patch was released for Titanfall that brought a few new features to the game, as well as a whole host of balancing tweaks and fixes. One of the biggest included features in the new patch is the inclusion of a private lobby system.
Previously, players had no methods to set up organized matches between one another, making matchmaking the only form of play. However, with the private lobby system, players will be able to invite friends (or foes) and battle it out against each other however they'd like.
The addition of private lobbies opens up the gates for a whole host of opportunities, including private local play, Machinima, and even possible E-sports tournaments, so it was definitely a good call for Respawn to add them to Titanfall.

According to Respawn Entertainment community manager Abbie Heppe, Titanfall's upcoming DLC content could include some creatures and monsters that may allow players to discover the various alien species within the lore of the game.
Despite three DLC packs in the works, it seems as if Titanfall aren't yet 100% sure what the three packs will consist of, but we all know new maps will be included. When asked about aliens and monsters, Heppe stated that, "We are going to have maps added, and we're trying to give players as much of a varied look at things as we can so that is definitely a possibility."
Many maps in Titanfall already have various creatures and spaceships in the background that can be killed for extra experience so it's possible that the DLC maps will make similar creatures more of a focus, instead of just a background element.
Whatever content the DLC packs include, Respawn seem to be keen on allowing players to explore the world of Titanfall even further,

Despite the game being already available for purchase, Respawn Entertainment's executive producer, Drew McCoy, has revealed that they have plans to include a few new features for Titanfall free of charge. One of these features will be the inclusion of private lobbies, which will allow players to play outside of a matchmaking lobby. This will open up a bunch of new opportunities for Titanfall, from competitive matches to machinima. Private lobbies are definitely something that the game needs so I'm excited to see them being integrated into the game.
The second upcoming feature mentioned by McCoy is a companion app for Titanfall. The companion app had already been planned alongside the game's development, but it has since been delayed. Drew McCoy has stated that the companion app is coming soon, although he hasn't detailed what the app will actually be capable of doing.
Finally, McCoy has touched on the subject of adding new game modes. He has revealed that although new

Titanfall has only just been released, and we're already talking about the sequel. However, we have good reason to. Titanfall was never originally planned to be a Microsoft exclusive, however it seems that Respawn decided to partner with Microsoft after being sent the offer to, most likely for extra revenue reasons.
It's probable that the choice was on EA's hands, but even though Titanfall has been confirmed as an Xbox and PC exclusive, the rights to Titanfall have not been sold to Microsoft, which means it's completely possible that the Titanfall sequel could be cross-platform.
Vince Zampella stated on Twitter that Respawn have not sold the rights to Titanfall to Microsoft, and although there hasn't been any confirmation, many Respawn developers have hinted that a Titanfall sequel for all consoles could be very possible.
Titanfall 2 will most likely be made, and EA seem to be very confident that the title could do extremely well as a franchise, but EA would be stupid

No matter how hard one might try, it seems almost impossible to get a good TV series of a popular video game up and running. We've all wanted a Halo movie for years, and despite all of the great live action content we've been given, the best we've got is a web series.
The Defiance series on the SyFy channel took a bold step, but it didn't gain enough traction to get off the ground, so perhaps all video game based live action content will always be confined to the internet, instead of in the cinema or on the home TV.
Whilst this isn't the best situation for any would-be video game/movie crossover fans, it does still mean we can get some pretty legit web series' released, and one of these series may even be backed by the Titanfall team.
Although details are still quite minimal, it seems that Respawn have teamed up with Playfight to create some kind of live action series that will air on the internet. It'll be interesting to see how well developed this series will be,

Somehow, it looks as if pretty much all information about Titanfall has been let out into the wild, and through all of these leaks, we can learn a bunch of new information about the upcoming Microsoft exclusive first person shooter.
The most interesting leak that's been picked up after the maps leak is something that pertains to the information of a prestige system similar to the ones found in Call of Duty games.
According to the leaker, the prestige system in Titanfall will be called Generations, and when a player decides to reset their rank to Generation 2, they'll lose all of their unlocked perks, and they will start back at level 1.
The bonuses of Generation 2 is that players will receive 110% XP at all times, and a unique badge to show off in-game. All burn card earnt in Generation 1 will be kept, and no details have been given on whether there will be any more Generations, and what bonuses players may receive for prestiging more than once.
It has also

If you purchased Halo Spartan Assault before February 14th, it probably means two things; you're a big Halo fan and love anything related to the series, and you're going to get a sweet new ride in Forza 5, courtesy of the Halo community at Halo Waypoint.
Last year, around the same time that Forza 5 was released, Halo Waypoint teamed up with Turn 10 to create a beautifully designed Halo Spartan Assault themed 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 for a few special people. Whilst it may not be as cool as the Forza warthog that got released in a previous Forza title, it did strengthen the bond between the Forza 5 development team and the Halo community just a little more.
Anyway, the awesome 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 has now been made available for anybody that decided to purchase Halo Spartan Assault for Xbox One before February 14th, so if you're in that group, you should now be able to find your awesome Halo

As far as beta's go, Titanfall's was pretty damn successful. In fact, the developers behind Titanfall have revealed that the game had received around 2 million unique players after the beta was opened up to the public.
Respawn Entertainment have revealed that the upcoming FPS shooter title has been very successful in it's beta stage, and the huge amount of players have helped the development team to spot some bugs and game mechanic exploits thanks to the dozens of players that live streamed or uploaded video footage to thousands of viewers.
Many gamers were making the remark that a beta this late into a game's development isn't really a beta at all, and is instead just a glorified demo. Whilst it's true that any major gameplay decisions can no longer be adjusted, I do think that the beta did some good for the development of Titanfall.
Firstly, Respawn's servers were put under pressure, and what better way to test servers than to open up the game for everybody to play

Titanfall hit Beta late last week, and at first I was taken back at the epic, super exciting gameplay the seemed to unfold in every single game. There is rarely a break in action, and sometimes that action intensifies and it's incredibly enjoyable.
The problem with the Beta is that the fun doesn't last - after a few hours of playing, the same two levels get boring, and playing with just four weapons with little customization options can make it feel almost pointless to carry on getting exp and completing challenges.
I hope that this issue will be addressed at launch. Right now the level cap is 14, which can be reached in less than 10 games, and once you've done that, there isn't that much left to do other than play the same things again and again.
One thing you can do though is keep unlocking burn cards, because some of these have a little peak at what content we’ll see in the future. Firstly, there seem to be two primary weapons available from burn cards that aren't
