Evil Ambassador Copiozo reflects on Mortal Kombat in his life.
For those of you who don't know, I'm 27 years old, meaning I was born in 1984. Mortal Kombat came out in about 1993 for the Sega Genesis & the SNES (It came out in arcades in 1992 but I didn't have access to it due to my rural Illinois town's arcade had zip). So doing the math, I was about nine years old when MK was reached to the masses via the consoles. I had the SNES version and my friend Tony had the Genesis version. We were hooked and were the bee's knees of our Catholic grade school of St. Columba because

Technology may be pretty advanced nowadays, but I guess its no match for a rough and tumble, lean and mean…mouse? Okay, seriously guys!! That has to be a joke!!
This past Monday, April 11, I left Evil Controllers two hours early to be able to study with a friend before my CIS 105 exam (because yes, I did wait til my last semester of my senior year to take CIS 105). When we got there, I first noticed things were a little off when we were remarkably let into the parking structure for free – when ASU even gives their prized overpriced income raising parking for free, you know something is wrong. As we walked to campus, conversation was buzzing loudly around the W.P. Carey building about a power outage. Apparently, the power had gone out about an hour prior, and no one knew why or how or when the power would be back on. Some speculated the construction workers hit a main line or something, but no one really knew. Thus,

Microsoft's XBOX 360 Controllers helping the Fukushima Nuclear Plant recovery effort.
Japan's getting help from all over the world, especially in the relief effort of the troubling Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. They're even getting help from Microsoft in a nearly a way aside from the donated technology from all over the world. With the Japanese government working around the clock to cool the nuclear cores and contain the problem, outside sources are lending a hand, like QinetiQ, a company from here in the United States that build robotics

Plants VS Zombies: Arcade Version
I first came across this game when my youngest brother, who is now nine-years-old, was glued to the computer screen protecting his house from the swarm of zombies for hours on end. I then downloaded the game on my Mac, Xbox, then purchased for my brother on the ipad and for his DS. We became addicted as soon as the game was offered in just about every way possible. And most recently in China Shunxiang Technology released an arcade version of the game. While the graphics on the arcade edition of Plants Vs. Zombies is relatively close the PopCaps original art, the gameplay veers far off from the original game. The arcade game allows up to

Could the Xbox 720 be on its way? (Note: Thats not the actual name, just a cheesy intro. Dont quote me.) But, apparently, recently a few job postings have been surfacing on LinkedIn looking to hire positions that would entail working on the architecture for the next-generation Xbox console.
Postings listed openings for a Graphics Architect position working with Xbox hardware, hoping for someone to lead a team that would be responsible for defining and delivering next generation console architectures from conception through implementation. Another position open is that of Senior Engineer, looking for someone to work on the development and verification of current and future Xbox platforms. A third posting announced an opening for a Senior Performance Architect who would be responsible for product definition throughout the entire process from beginning to end.
All of this information was compiled and speculated
