Xbox One Elite Controller

  • PS4 Controllers Currently Available

PS4 Controllers LimitedThere are a number of different PS4 controllers currently available, including controllers with aesthetic changes and gamepads with physical improvements.

In this article we have listed some of the most wanted PS4 controllers available on the market.

    20th Anniversary Edition

Both rare and a homage to days past, the 20th anniversary edition features the iconic gray colors seen on the original PlayStation One controllers twenty years ago. Getting hold of a 20th anniversary edition DualShock 4 controller is hard today, and that only makes it even more valuable.

    Gray Blue

The Gray Blue DualShock 4 controller was launched alongside the Limited Edition Uncharted 4 PlayStation 4 bundle - it's not as limited as the 20th anniversary edition, but it's a nice change from the standard colors.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Edition

This is one of the more sought after PS4 controllers currently available, mostly due to it's unique orange and metallic gray color scheme.

    DualShock 4 Standard Color Range

As well as the limited edition pads above, Sony has released a number of unlimited DualShock 4 variants, all with different colors. The standard colors include Maga Red, Glacier White, Urban Camouflage and Blue.

    Razer Raiju PS4 Pro

Razer and Sony have teamed up to offer a PS4 Elite controller - this gamepad has a similar price tag to the Xbox One Elite, and it comes with a fairly similar offering. The Razer Raiju is bulkier than your standard DualShock 4.

    PS4 Custom Controllers

The Raiju doesn't have as many customization options as the Xbox One Elite, so if you're looking out for something with more of a competitive advantage for casual play, esports, or anything in between, you may prefer something that takes things to another level.

However, neither Razer, Microsoft, Sony or any other major player in the hardware space can give you the customization options we have to offer.

Customers email us every day telling us how great our PS4 Pro Controller is and how it's exactly what they've been looking for. That's where our Pro Controllers come in.

    Our PS4 Pro Controllers include:

    + Sensitive Buttons
    + Hairpin Triggers
    + Black Matte Grip

  • Xbox One Elite Controller Stock Issues Confirmed

    xbox one elite controller

Due to the reception of the Xbox One Elite controller exceeding Microsoft's original plans, the stock for the controller has mostly been wiped out across the globe. Currently Microsoft is working on manufacturing more Xbox One Elite Controllers to meet the unexpected demand, but for now Xbox owners are limited for choices if they'd like to get their hands on a controller.

According to Phil Spencer, Microsoft is working right now to get more stock for the $150 controller that has advanced features. Phil Spencer has taken to Twitter to apologize for it being so hard for gamers to find an Xbox Elite controller.

Unfortunately Xbox can't promise that they'll get more units out in time for Christmas. Phil mentioned that, "Demand has just exceeded our planning. If you find one [Elite controller] and you want it, pick it up, sorry."

One option for those looking to get an Xbox One Elite controller for Christmas is to pick up one of the various Elite console bundles that feature the controller inside. The Elite console does cost more than the standard console but it does have a larger hard drive as well. You may consider selling or trading in your current Xbox One for an Xbox One Elite console bundle as these seem to be in stock in most regions.

You may also want to check the stock of your local video game retailers and chain stores. It's likely that some local stores have managed to stock their shelves before the initial stock from Microsoft ran out.

You can find our own here: Xbox One Elite Controllers. None of our controllers ship without being fully tested.

  • No More Pip-Boy Fallout 4 Editions Coming

    pip-boy fallout 4

Whilst the Pip-Boy collector's edition of Fallout 4 seemed like a big gimmick for a lot of gamers, it clearly is no joke to any Fallout fans out there. In fact, there will be no more Pip-Boy editions available for sale because they've all sold out.

Some rumors have circulated that Bethesda has purposely artificially limited the stock of the Fallout 4 collector's edition but Bethesda has opened up about the Pip-Boy and the truth is actually completely the opposite from this.

Despite Bethesda trying to increase production of the Pip-Boy as much as possible, the Fallout 4 Collector's Edition still sold out and Bethesda can no longer get hold of any more. In an interview with Gamespot, Bethesda's Pete Hines explained that, "We reached a point where we'd go back to the factories and they were like, 'guys, this is it, sorry.'"

When talking about keeping in touch with the factories responsible for production of the Pip-Boy, Hines mentioned, "We'd go back and say 'Demand for this is insane, we've got to make more.'"

Unfortunately the factories just couldn't keep up with production. Pete Hines stated that the factories eventually said, "'Sorry, this is as many as we can make.' And we sold every single one of those that we could."

So, there we have it. Despite Bethesda's best attempts, the Collector's Edition of Fallout 4 has managed to sell immensely quickly and your only chance at picking up a Pip-Boy is to wait for the game release and pick up a copy from eBay, where you'll most likely be met with prices that far exceed the actual original price of the Collector's Edition, which was set at $119.99.

  • Infection Should Come to Master Chief Collection

    master chief collection infection

Infection is a game mode in the Halo franchise that has been around since Halo 2. Since then it's gone through various changes and in the latest version of Halo, infected players now appear as the flood.

Whilst infection has been in practically every version of Halo, the game mode has not yet been added to the Master Chief Collection. However, if the latest news from 343 Industries is anything to go by then the game mode should be coming to MCC soon as well.

In the latest weekly blog post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries detailed their upcoming plans for the Master Chief Collection, whilst hinting at an upcoming Infection update.

"The playlist team continues to work on future updates, and it's quite likely that we'll be talking more about things like Infection in the coming weeks," 343 Industries stated in their blog post. For those unfamiliar with the infection game type in Halo - it works similarly to the standard FPS 'zombies' or 'infection' mode that has been in first person shooters for years.

The majority of players start as clean, non-infected participants and a small selection of players are randomly chosen to be the infected participants at the start of each round. The infected players must attempt to 'infect' other players by killing them. The infected have infinite lives, but non-infected players only have life before they're moved over to the infected team.

In the Halo version of Infection, the last living player gets extra bonuses such as an overshield to help them survive the oncoming infected hordes.

  • Microsoft's Xbox One Elite Controller Announcement

Screen_Shot_2015-06-15_at_12.56.43_PM.0Microsoft just announced their latest controller changes. They are introducing a brand new controller design that includes paddles, remappable buttons, swappable components, and trigger locks. All of these new enhancements are scheduled for release this Fall. Microsoft is gearing its new design towards the "elite gamers" and tournament level players. The paddles and remappable buttons should impact the competitive gaming scene dramatically.

It is unknown at the time if Sony will return with their own new controller design but we speculate that they will have to answer to Microsoft's controller. Sony already has remappable buttons but will they also add the paddles and trigger stops? We will have to wait and see how they decide to answer. If they want to stay ahead they will have to keep the competitive gamer in mind.

The new Xbox One controller design has the hardcore gamer in mind and will definitely be a hit. The price hasn't been discussed yet but with all the additional components it can easily break the $100 price point. To check out the trailer for the new controller click here:
