This legacy custom PS3 Accessible Controller was one of Evil Controllers' earliest adaptive gaming solutions, designed well before dedicated accessibility products such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller and the PlayStation Access Controller became available.
Built prior to 2010, this custom controller introduced an innovative switch-based control system that allowed gamers to connect external accessibility switches using standard 3.5mm input jacks. At a time when very few accessible gaming products existed, this design offered players a highly customizable way to interact with PlayStation 3 games.
A custom enclosure was designed and manufactured using laser engraving technology, with each 3.5mm input clearly labeled and positioned for easy identification. Users could connect compatible accessibility switches of their choice, creating a personalized control setup tailored to their individual mobility needs and preferred method of play.
