The Online Streaming Service Will Soon Be on the Wii and the 3DS

Hulu Plus, thesubscription streaming TV service, will be available on both the 3DS and Wii in the near future,according to an article on Joystiq. Though you are likely to make some jabs like "time to dust off my Wii" or "I thought that console was only used by the elderly and casual gamer", we should remind you that the Wii beats out both the PS3 and Xbox 360 when it comesto streaming Netflix. Nintendo 3DS price drops from $249 to $170.

When 3DS sales began to drop only a small bit of time after its release, Nintendo acted quick torebootthe public into purchasing its handheld system. Currently the 3DS is selling at nearly $250 but come August 12th, it will be slashed down to $169.99.
Commenting on this price slashing, Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America stated:

Wii U
There are lots of reasons to be excited with all of the new games, and technology being released at the 2011 E3 convention. Personally, I am extremely amped about the new Nintendo products that have made their debut at E3, continuing along line of great products and games. The biggest release for Nintendo has been the Wii U, which from demo trailers looks to be very enticing.

As of this Tuesday, Nintendo confirmed that the first-day 3DS sales in the United States were the highest ever for any Nintendo hand-held system. Unfortunately, however, no exact numbers were released and wont be released until early to mid April (which, I guess isnt that far away, even though it sure feels like it), when they announce the first-week US sales.
The 3DS, which launched on the 27th in the United States, sold a hefty amount through preorders, which apparently doubled the amount of preorders for the Wii on Amazon. The 3DS also came with about 30 new titles released [...]
