Fortnite is a brand new IP by Epic Games and it has finally arrived on Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
Fortnite has been in the eyes of the media for a good few years now, and it's been in development for even longer than that. Today, Fortnite has finally made it to early access and can be picked up on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
The development studio responsible for Fortnite is responsible for both Gears of War and Unreal Tournament. Fortnite takes things in a different direction. There are less blood and gore, and more room for creativity.
In Fortnite, players must team up to build structures that can defend themselves against an oncoming onslaught of enemies. As the game continues, the enemies become more aggressive and powerful. As a result, players must put in more effort to improve their defenses.
To get into early access, you'll have to pick up Fortnite for $40 on either Xbox One, PS4, or PC.
There are more expensive versions of the game if you feel like supporting

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a video game that'll take the Final Fantasy franchise into new territory. It's a fighting game at heart, but it borrows some elements that you'd only recognize from past Final Fantasy games.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is set to officially launch on the PlayStation 4 next year. So far, the exact release date hasn't been confirmed. We do, however, now know that a beta is coming for the game that'll give players the chance to play Dissidia Final Fantasy NT early.
The signups for the closed beta are now live - you'll need to go to Square Enix's website to register your interest.
Square Enix hasn't yet confirmed the starting dates for the closed beta, either. We'd expect it to come sometime this year, though. We're not sure whether pre-ordering Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will give you instant access to the closed beta, but for now, it looks as if it'll only be limited to randomly selected people that sign up to the closed beta via Square Enix's

Previously, a small preload file for the Destiny 2 beta was put up online. The preload file was only 400MB in size, however, which lead many people to speculate that a bigger patch was coming closer to the beta start date.
This has proven to be true today as a brand new patch for the Destiny 2 beta preload client has gone live. The new update is 12.6GB in size, making the total file size for the Destiny 2 beta client 13GB.
This information is based on the beta client on the PlayStation 4 - file size may vary slightly on other platforms.
If you've already pre-purchased Destiny 2, you'll now be able to jump into the action. Get the download started because the Destiny 2 beta will continue until July 23rd.
The beta originally started on the PlayStation 4 on July 18. The Xbox One beta started on July 19.
The PC beta for Destiny 2 will not go live until August. Currently, the exact Destiny 2 PC beta date hasn't been locked in.

The first For Honor season has recently come to an end, and as a result, a brand new season in For Honor with new maps and heroes is set to go live.
The new season will go live on May 16 and will coincide with a big content update, featuring maps and new playable heroes. The next season has been codenamed Shadow and Might.
The two new For Honor heroes are named the Shinobi and the Centurion - both offer new experiences for both spectrums of the combat field. "The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer's grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama," while "The Centurion sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat."

Codemasters has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming racing game, Dirt 4, and it already looks absolutely spectacular.
The trailer is only a minute long, but it does show off some good in-game footage from some off-road tracks, as well as some more traditional off-road racing spots. The game also features the song Instigators by Grace Potter - we feel like it's a fitting choice. It'll be one of the forty songs that will accompany Dirt 4's soundtrack upon the game's release.
Speaking of release, Dirt 4 has booked a North American release date of June 6th, 2017. The rest of the world will receive the game on June 9th. Dirt 4 will be available for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Dirt 4 will come with 50 off-road ready vehicles at launch, including the Ford Fiesta R5, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Subaru WRX STI NR4 and Audi Sport quattro S1 E2. The game will feature rally locations across Australia, Spain, Michigan, Sweden, and Wales. Players will have access to the

The Xbox Game Pass has been announced and it's seeking to be the Netflix of gaming.
The newly announced Xbox Game Pass will cost users a monthly fee of $9.99, but with it will come unlimited access to over 100 titles. Unlike Netflix, users of the Xbox Game Pass will be able to download their games and play them - there will be no limit to the amount of games a player can download at once, as long as they have enough internal memory and their Xbox Game Pass subscription is still active.
Some of the games included in the Game Pass are older titles that can be picked up for cheap, both digitally and in physical form, but a lot of the games are recent releases. Most titles on the list so far are considered to be very decent games, too.
Highlights of the Game Pass include access to Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War Judgment, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and NBA 2K16. The Xbox Game Pass also includes a number of classic Xbox 360 titles and arcade games such as Kameo, Hexic

The Ghost Recon Wildlands open beta has started - players can already sign into Uplay, Steam, Xbox Live or PSN to install the open beta.
The beta should now be live for all users in regions across the world. Currently, the beta is live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Currently, the beta download size is sitting at roughly 24GB for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, if you installed the previous PC beta you'll only need to download 19GB worth of data.
Either way, you may want to start downloading now - this will be your last chance to give Ghost Recon Wildlands a try for free before the game is officially released. The open beta will remain open until Monday the 27th, so you've still got lots of time to get the game download and get playing.
This time round, the open beta for Wildlands will have a total of two regions for exploring, as opposed to the full game's 21 different regions. The first region is Itacua, which was first seen in the previous beta period.

A previously PC-exclusive update for Elder Scrolls Online has finally made it's way to the Xbox One and the PS4. The update in question adds housing to the world of ESO for the first time since the game's release.
The new free update is called Homestead and with it, players will be able to purchase their very own home to call their own. Once a home is purchased, a player can customize the interior in a variety of different ways. The Homestead options available include roughly 40 different rooms and buildings types, ranging in size, price and functionality.
All of the available player houses in Homestead are instanced, so every player can own their own version of any house they please in the game world, so long as they've got the gold for it of course.
The very high-end houses are essentially separate islands off of the mainland of Tamriel. There are ten different types of islands, all of which are themed around one of the 10 playable races in Elder Scrolls Online.
