GTA 6 Announcement May Be Incoming

It appears that 2020 may be the year that we see an announcement from Rockstar Games that they’re officially working on Grand Theft Auto 6.

The rumors stem from a job posting for Rockstar, where they’re looking for a Post-Production Video Editor, who specifies that they must have experience working on both drama and documentary-style video. This could indicate that the studio is working on a new Grand Theft Auto title, although there could certainly be other titles that are possible. The timeline does seem to line up with a new Grand Theft Auto game being in the works, seeing as how the previous entry was initially launched in September 2013 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, before eventually being ported to current-generation platforms.

Without a doubt, a new GTA game would likely be launched on the next-gen Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles, seeing as how the current systems are beginning their slowdown in terms of sales. We don’t know about a setting or theme for the game, but without a doubt, the game would be one of the most-anticipated games of the next generations.

A new GTA online would likely also be accompanying the base game, seeing as how it has been extremely lucrative for Rockstar. The online game generated millions of dollars monthly for the developer and has helped keep GTA 5 in the best-seller list for years.
