New Mass Effect 3 DLC Released

Bioware is still churning out the DLC, and this time Omega - a new DLC featuring singleplayer content - has been released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Although there has been a fair amount of multiplayer content, extra singleplayer missions have rarely been added, so if you are more interested in the stories within the Mass Effect universe over the social aspects of multiplayer gameplay, the new Omega DLC will be a good addition to the game for you.

Omega adds new characters and allies and takes Commander Shephard's relationship with Aria T'Loak a little further as they team up to plot revenge on Aria's own domain, as she seeks to reclaim her position as the leader.

Commander Shephard works with Aria and another so-far unannounced mystery ally, to fight the Illusive Man's forces and take back a space station so that they can free the enslaved people of Omega.

Although not much has been released about the story of the new Omega DLC, there has been an announcement trailer by Bioware which explains the basis of the story and that on top of the new story content, players will find two guns within the new download content areas which were previously only available from pre-order bonus codes.

The Omega DLC was released on 28th November and can be bought for 1200 Microsoft points and £11.99 on the Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network respectively.
