The Best Games of PS Plus for February 2022

PS Plus has come out with this month’s game titles that it will give out for free. As one of the main selling points of the subscription, along with offering players access to online features, it manages to grab people’s attention. With Playstation giving out a variety of high-profile games like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, God of War III, and Uncharted 4, people are careful never to miss the free games that it gives out.

While there are no high-profile AAA games available this month, the selection is great if you’re a fan of indie games. These games include:

PS Plus Games for February 2022

UFC 4

UFC 4 is the fourth installment in EA’s flagship series of MMA fighting games. The game was released in 2020 to much fanfare, as both critics and fans complimented the game’s revamped combat and different combat modes.

It is not a regular fighting game, as the striking has been remade from the ground up, with mechanics surrounding the takedowns and submissions being revamped. You can even take the game online and test your skills against other players.

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure

The well-renowned DLC from Borderlands 2 comes free this month as a standalone experience. Released independently in 2021, the game sees you taking on new enemies in the charming world of Tiny Tina’s wonderland. The game features new enemies, new weapons, new chests, and new customizations for characters.

The entire experience lasts five hours and features an online coop. So if you’re looking for a quick run-and-gun looter-shooter to pass the time with, this can be a great choice. You can even play the game with your friends to make the game more fun and engaging.

Planet Coaster: Console Edition (Playstation 5)

The popular roller coaster building simulator is finally on consoles, and it’s completely free during February. Create your very own theme park with elaborate rides that you can build and maintain. You can even customize your theme park in great detail, designing structures from the ground up using user-friendly tools.

You can even take your theme park online and share it with friends or even request them for specific structures and rides. The game features plenty of mechanical depth and is a great way to pass the time.

Better Games In The Future

The current lineup of free games available on PS Plus at the moment has left people a little sour. While it does feature big-budget releases, they are mostly niche games and a DLC that doesn’t offer anything long-term. However, you do have next month to look forward to, as Playstation always manages to compensate the relatively smaller months with something fun or a fan favorite.

Playstation is also working on project Spartacus, their answer to Xbox Game Pass, the monthly subscription for games. But until news for that starts to surface, why not enjoy some of the free games available right now.
