Another month has gone by already, and that means another lineup of free games for both the PlayStation network and Xbox Live. For those that didn't know, both Microsoft and Sony have been running a monthly loyalty program that offers players free games to download each month in return for paying a monthly subscription to their services.
So far it's been a pretty successful venture, but a lot of gamers have criticized Microsoft for not offering a decent rotation of games. The team behind the Xbox Live games with Gold program have recently revealed that they plan to improve the program over the coming months, and it looks like April is looking to be the first month to showcase these new improvements.
Until April 16th, if you are a paying Xbox Live Gold member you will be able to download and play Hitman Absolution for free. Once downloaded, the title will stay in your game library, even after your Gold membership is cancelled.
Hitman Absolution is a great game, and if

It's been known for a while now that the upcoming Wolfenstein title, The New Order, will come packed with beta access for a brand new DOOM game that is currently in the works and being published by Bethesda.
However, so far details on the beta, it's availability and the platforms it will run on have been pretty unclear. This week, we've uncovered a bit more information about the beta, and it has now been announced that the DOOM beta will only be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
To get beta access, gamers must pre-order a copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order. As expected, a PS4 pre-order will allocate the owner a PS4 beta key, an Xbox One copy pre-order will allocate the owner an Xbox One beta key, and pre-ordering for the PC will grant owners a beta key for the PC version of doom.
It has also been revealed that players will need an active Xbox Live Gold membership to play DOOM online, but PlayStation 4 owners will get off the hook, as they will not need a PS Plus

Earlier in the week we talked about the odd EA PlayStation flash sale that happened over the weekend, and it looks Microsoft are trying to offer the same thing. Little to no word has been mentioned about this to the public, but despite this Microsoft have gone ahead with pushing out a flash sale, and although not many details have been given on when the sale will end, there are certainly many deals to pick up.
Some of the biggest deals include Battlefield 4, which has been reduced to just $29.99 instead of $59.99, and Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag, which has also been reduced to $29.99 for a short time.
These two titles aren't the only AAA games to receive a discount either; Call of Duty Ghosts has been knocked down to $24.99 for the sale period, and FIFA 14 has had $20 knocked off of it's price, bringing it down to $39.99.
Below, a full list of all discounted titles has been provided.
- Angry Birds Star Was - $29.99

Square Enix has just grabbed the Trademark rights for the phrase "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" in the United Kingdom, and this could mean we've got a new upcoming Deus Ex title to look for. The trademark was filed on March 27th, so it could still be a while before we see or hear anything else about this new Deus Ex game, however Square Enix and Eidos Montreal did reveal earlier in October 2013 that they do have plans to release a new Deus Ex title for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
If you were enjoyed playing through Human Revolution, then you should be happy to hear that the upcoming Deus Ex game will be worked on by the same core team that worked through the last title, which was released in 2011.
Unsurprisingly, not much has been released for the new Deus Ex game, although there has been a concept art image showcased. (shown above.) Producer David Anfossi revealed that the art, "represents a 'ghetto-city' voluntarily built in order to separate the classes. The people in -

A few changes have just gone live for the DLC car system currently in place for Forza 5, and it will have a few effects on gameplay.
One of the biggest changes is that from now on, when a player purchases a DLC car, that car will arrive instantly in their garage, as opposed to the system beforehand that required players to buy the car both with real money as a DLC pack, and with in-game currency after purchasing the DLC.
Turn10 creative director Dan Greenawalt gave a bit of information in this change, "As of today, players who have purchased DLC cars in Forza Motorsport 5 can add those cars to their Forza 5 garage immediately, at no additional in-game cost. And moving forward, when you buy a Car Pass, a DLC car pack, or a single DLC car, you will be granted the one-time free addition of each car to your Forza 5 garage, without needing to purchase them with in-game credits or tokens."
"This goes for all current Forza Motorsport 5 DLC (including cars in previous DLC car

It's become quite a trend recently to reboot old games and refresh them with brand spanking new graphics, however, new information suggests that the Last of Us, a very new game, may be making it to the next gen in an 'HD Remake.'
This wouldn't be the first time this has happened, as only a few weeks ago Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a revamp in graphics.
This new information about the Last of Us allegedly came from a show on CNN Turk. On the show, Turkey Vice President and Market Manager of Sony Eurasia, Sercan Sulun, revealed that the Last of Us will be coming to PlayStation 4 with enhanced graphics, as well as the extra Left Behind DLC pack.
Although not Sulun's full words, the rough translation came out as "No, a sequel is not coming right now as far as I know, but I can say that the first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics."

Creative Assembly have released plans on their upcoming survival horror video game set in the Alien world called Alien Isolation, and if everything goes to plan, the new game should be available this October.
Creative Assembly lead creative Alistair Hope released a statement saying, "We couldn't be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation. The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It's the Alien game that we've always wanted to play and we can't wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall."
Creative Assembly revealed the title at this years' EGX Rezzed on Saturday, and Creative, along with their publisher, SEGA, have high hopes for the title.
So far, not too much is known about the gameplay content, however it is clear that Alien Isolation will follow the story of Ellen Ripley’s daughter. Amanda Ripley will face various scares and thrills throughout the game,

So far, every Batman game under RockSteady's wing has been Arkham something; Arkham Origins, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, etc, and it's all led back to Batman. However, some new information reveals that despite our previous thoughts, the Arkham Knight isn't Batman at all.
In fact, the Arkham Knight will be the main villain in the upcoming Batman game, and if you're a fan of the Arkham series, you'll agree with me when I say that this sounds absolutely exciting.
However, the odd thing is, this will be the first time that RockSteady Studios change up the world of Batman so much that they introduce a completely new character unseen in the world of Batman before.
This is obviously a big move for the franchise in general, especially considering that it's now many decades old, but if anyone were to bring a new villain to the world of Batman, I entrust RockSteady to do a pretty job at it.
It seems the new villain has taken inspiration from Batman himself, and early images

If you've been playing Titanfall at all over the last few weeks, you may have noticed that the team balancing system in place doesn't really feel like it's there at all. In fact, as it stands, it seems just as likely to have a full team of generation pilots against a team of new players, as it is to have a fair, balance game across both teams.
However, this is likely to change in the future, and Respawn Entertainment have already addressed it as an issue. In fact, Respawn have already worked on a system that should sort out the matchmaking balancing issues, and it should be available in the game in the near future.
For the time being, the new updated matchmaking system has been pushed out to a small beta server that players have access to. In the beta server, and all other servers once the full matchmaking balancing update goes live, the game will spend more time looking for equal matches instead of simply jumping to the most optimized game as quickly as possible.

The weekend flew by, and for whatever reason, EA decided it was a nice idea to unleash a flash sale over on the PlayStation Network in the United States. The deals were only available for over the weekend, but it allowed PlayStation owners to grab some sweet deals for their PlayStation 3.
The most notable addition to the EA flash sale this weekend was Battlefield 4, which despite only being released last year, was put up for just $25, a whole 50% cheaper than it's full retail price.
The EA flash sale weekend also included some other pretty enjoyable games, and things such as EA Sports FIFA Street and Crysis were available for between $5 and $10.
The Crysis 3 Ultimate Bundle also went for a pretty decent price, and like Battlefield 4 was 50% off, making it just $21.99 instead of $43.99.
It's a bit odd for EA to suddenly offer a flash sale like this out of the blue, and it'll be interesting to see if they offer any other deals in the future for other platforms.
