The whole DLC debacle definitely leaves a lot of room for debate, but if you're patient with buying games you can often get great deals on DLC. In fact, most publishers are now releasing "complete editions" roughly a year after the game release - these versions often cost the same price as the original game but they're also packed with all of the game's DLC.
Ubisoft has been following this practice for a while, and their next compilation game set for release is Far Cry 4: Complete Edition.
As expected, Far Cry 4 Complete Edition will come with the full game and all five of the DLC expansions that were released as part of the game's season pass. The new complete edition will also have all of the extra missions, weapons and areas that may have been awarded to players in the past.
Far Cry 4 Complete Edition is set for release on June 19. So far we don't know whether we'll see a physical release or not. It's entirely possible that the Complete Edition may only be available

The first Battlefield Hardline DLC has now been announced by Visceral Games and some of the content we can expect to find in the expansion has been detailed.
The first Battlefield Hardline DLC has been called Criminal Activity. As expected, Criminal Activity will come with four new maps. The expansion may include other content as well but at this point in time it has not be announced by Visceral Games or EA.
Two of the new Battlefield Hardline maps will be set at night, whilst the other two will be set at day. All four maps will be set in Florida and California so we can expect to be fighting in an urban environment. Personally I think urban maps are the best settings for Hardline, so it's great to see we’ll be getting some more city action soon.
Unfortunately no solid release date for Criminal Activity has yet been revealed. We do know that the next DLC pack for Battlefield Hardline, which is scheduled for release after Criminal Activity will be launching in the summer

Battlefield 4 has already had a season pass but DICE aren't quite done with developing content for the game just yet. However, instead of charging players extra on top of all the other additional DLC costs already tied onto Battlefield 4, DICE has made the noble choice to release all of the future DLC content for free.
Whilst previous DLC will still cost players the same it does today, any new content created by DICE and released for Battlefield 4 from this day forwards will be absolutely free to all players.
So far there are a lot of details that haven't been shared by DICE, but we do know that they are working on some new maps, including night time maps. The night maps should be variants of previously released maps. So far we already know that Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311, and Golmud Railway will be receiving nighttime variants. A new community-made map is also in the works and should be released for free in the not too distant future.
A new patch is planned for this

Whilst a lot of information about Black Ops 3 has been released officially, there is still a lot that Treyarch are waiting to reveal. Luckily, some details have already leaked, including details about the different DLC packs that will be in Black Ops 3.
Black Ops 3 will have 4 different DLC packs, all of which will be part of the season pass. As usual, the season pass can be purchased up front and will cost considerably less than it would to purchase each of the DLC packs separately as they are released.
Unfortunately we do not have details about what content will be in the Black Ops 3 DLC packs, although it could be possible that not even Treyarch are 100% sure at this point. Considering the full game hasn't even gone gold yet, it would make sense that DLC plans are not completely confirmed at this point.
If previous Call of Duty games are anything to go by, we can expect new maps from the DLC packs, along with new weapons and maybe some extra gun camos. There may

For the most part Mortal Kombat X has been released without too many problems but it seems nowadays you can't have a game release without some kind of bugs or issues. Fortunately, NetherRealm Studios has been working round the clock to ensure everything is as smooth as possible.
Recently, the 1.02 patch was applied to Mortal Kombat for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 and it brings a number of changes and bug fixes to the game.
Perhaps the biggest noticeable changes to Mortal Kombat X in 1.02 are some tweaks to general gameplay and certain character’s move sets. Below the major game changes have been listed.
General - Throws (regular or command grabs) will no longer sometimes connect on a grounded reacting opponent off a counter hit
Shinnok (Impostor) - He can now control the location of a stolen Goro Stomp.
Subzero (Grandmaster) - Combos on a grounded opponent frozen by the Ice Klone will now scale properly.
Takeda (Ronin) - Added a new move "Quick Kall"

A whole bunch of new information about Star Wars Battlefront has been revealed by DICE, including details about when the game is going to be released. So far, we have yet to see any true in-game footage, but a very impressive in-engine trailer was released alongside the information that DICE has shared.
First thing's first, the release date for Star Wars Battlefront has been set for an unspecified day in November. The new Battlefront game will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC when it releases.
DICE also revealed that Battlefront will run at 60 frames per second and all local game modes will support split screen play. Unfortunately there will be no split screen support for online modes. The local mode that will support split screen play is called Missions and this is a game mode that puts human players against a team of bots. Similarly to Titanfall, Star Wars Battlefront will not have any singleplayer campaign so the Missions mode will be the only option players will have

In the latest patch for The Order: 1886 a brand new photo mode has been added to the game that will allow players to take screenshots of their game and send it to their friends.
In the latest PlayStation blog it read, "Fans expressed an overwhelming desire to see and share the realism, beauty and detail of our Neo-Victorian world. With Photo Mode, you'll be able to compose, capture, and share stunning images of your favorite moments, characters, and environments."
On top of being able to take great shots of your gameplay by heading into the photo mode at any time, there are a number of settings within photo mode that apply to your own game experience too. You can adjust some of the color gradients and other graphical settings to change the appearance of your game in real time. For example, if you want to play with a sepia tone, or want to see what playing The Order: 1886 in black and white feels like, you can set these things up in the photo mode.

A brand new patch has been applied to all versions of Diablo 3 across all platforms. Patch 2.2.0 adds a range of different changes to the game, including tweaks to the Quality of Life, new item additions and general updates.
The most noticeable update will be the three new sets which have been added to the game. These three sets include Wrath of the Wastes for Barbarian, Unhallowed Essence for Demon Hunter, and Delsere's Magnum Opus for Wizard.
On top of the new sets over 10 of the pre-existing sets have been tweaked, and one class specific set from each class has also been worked on. Blizzard did not go into too much detail about which sets have been changed but they did mention that over 20 new legendary items were added on top of the set changes.
30 more legendary items previously found in the game have also been adjusted. Looting crafting materials and gems is now easier, regular potions now do not run out and cannot be dropped from monsters.
Finally, three

There has been a bit of commotion on the internet this week because NetherRealm announced a feature of Mortal Kombat X that has two sides of the fighting game's community divided. On one half, those that purchased the premium edition or Kombat pack are frustrated, and on the other half, those that only bought the standard edition of the game are equally as pleased.
The reason for this is because NetherRealm have announced that there will be ways to play the DLC characters for free, without purchasing any DLC at all. As you can imagine, those that have already paid for the DLC are quite mad at NetherRealm for making this decision, but it's important to understand the full picture first.
Whilst characters like Jason Voorhees and The Predator can be played by playing in the special timed challenge towers, you will only be able to play one of the DLC characters when a premiere tower is live in-game. You also cannot play the DLC characters in versus mode or story mode - they will

A new screenshot has confirmed that the upcoming game, Batman Arkham Knight will include a huge install size, taking up to 50GB of hard drive space. If you are planning to play Batman Arkham Knight and your PlayStation 4's hard drive space is becoming limited, you may want to clear some space in anticipation for the game's launch later this year.
There are plenty of reasons why Batman Arkham Knight will be 50GB on the PlayStation 4. Firstly, the game features an open world, and by the looks of things it is going to be quite a large world. Another thing to take into consideration is that Batman Arkham Knight has some very impressive visuals. The size of the high definition game files is expected to be very large considering the game looks so great.
In other news, rumors suggest that the Batman Arkham Knight DLC will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 until Fall 2015. Some of this exclusive DLC will include the Scarecrow Nightmare missions, the Justice League 3000 and Classic
