If you didn't know already, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is coming this year, and it's looking it could completely change a lot about the previous games in the franchise.
The latest trailer has released more details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, including a release date and the supported platforms that the game will run on. As you can expect, Black Ops 3 will only be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, so there will not be any support for the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3.
Black Ops 3 will be releasing on November 6 worldwide, but players are given the chance to play it a little earlier. If you pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 you will be given access to a multiplayer beta.
There will be a beta for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, so you'll be able to give the beta a try no matter what platform you play on. Unfortunately neither Treyarch or Activision has given a date on the multiplayer beta, but it can't be that far away considering that the full game

New details have emerged about how players will play through Batman Arkham Knight. This time round, players will have access to different playable characters, and they will be able to swap between the different characters in a similar fashion to Grand Theft Auto V.
Unlike Grand Theft Auto 5, the different playable characters in Batman Arkham Knight will not be going about their own business in the world. Instead, you can switch out to any superheroes accompanying Batman at the time at the tap of a button.
This new information was revealed in a brand new trailer for Batman Arkham Knight. In the trailer, Cat woman, Robin and Night Wing are seen as characters that players can switch out to at any time. Whilst we aren't sure whether this will be the full lineup of characters, this trio of superheroes is going to be more than capable of making Batman's day just a little bit easier.
When switching to a new character in the midst of a fight, you will sometimes be able to chain

Slightly Mad Studios has just released a bunch of information about Project Cars in anticipation for it's launch next month. According to the development team, Project Cars will come with 30 different locations and there will be 110 different courses spread out across these locations.
All of the locations and race tracks in Project Cars have been based on places in the real world, and from what we've seen so far Slightly Mad Studios has done a good job to replicate these locations using incredible detail.
Whilst a lot of the race tracks are unique spots, some tracks are slight variations of the same race course. For example, the Sakito circuit in Japan has four layouts including GP, National, International and Sprint. Each of these layouts count as a separate track out of the 110 tracks that will be in the base game when Project Cars launches.
It's surprising that Project Cars has been delayed so many times since it was first announced but this new information about

A whole bunch of new information about Star Wars Battlefront has been revealed by DICE, including details about when the game is going to be released. So far, we have yet to see any true in-game footage, but a very impressive in-engine trailer was released alongside the information that DICE has shared.
First thing's first, the release date for Star Wars Battlefront has been set for an unspecified day in November. The new Battlefront game will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC when it releases.
DICE also revealed that Battlefront will run at 60 frames per second and all local game modes will support split screen play. Unfortunately there will be no split screen support for online modes. The local mode that will support split screen play is called Missions and this is a game mode that puts human players against a team of bots. Similarly to Titanfall, Star Wars Battlefront will not have any singleplayer campaign so the Missions mode will be the only option players will have

A brand new Deus Ex game planned to follow on from the story of Human Revolution has been revealed and it will be making it's way to the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
The new Deus Ex title has been named Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and it will take place in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution. Many of non-augmented civilians were killed in Human Revolution, leaving the divide between humans and augmented humans at an all time high.
Factions will form in Mankind Divided, all of which will have their own agenda and attitude towards augmentation. The game will focus on Adam Jensen, the same protagonist from the previous Deus Ex games. This time round, players will need to rely even more on his augmented skills.
Whilst not much else has been revealed about the game, a trailer was released which delved into the story of the Deus Ex universe a little. Deus Ex Human Revolution had one of the most engaging stories last generation and I hope that Mankind

Even though the Dragon Age: Inquisition Jaws of Hakkon DLC was released last week for Xbox One, BioWare has revealed details on when the DLC will be coming to other platforms, including the PlayStation 4.
According to BioWare via Twitter, the Jaws of Hakkon DLC will be available for all other supported consoles sometime in May. This includes the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The reason BioWare could not reveal details about the Jaws of Hakkon coming to other consoles earlier was because their exclusivity contract with Microsoft prevented them from doing so.
In a Q&A session on Kotaku, BioWare's general manager, Aaryn Flynn revealed details about how the timed exclusivity deal works.
"Jaws of Hakkon is a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and PC. This approach allowed for a lot of support from Microsoft and Origin in launching the DLC, so it did have that benefit for the team, and we appreciate the partnership," Aaryn mentioned. "However, as a timed

Earlier in the month, Sony announced that they will be releasing a remastered version of God of War 3 for the PlayStation 4.
The remastered version will have a 1080p resolution and will play on the PlayStation 4 at 60 frames per second. The game has been mentioned to cost $40, and it will release on July 14.
Because of the sudden announcement, many players have wondered with Sony will plan to release other God of War games on the PlayStation 4. Thankfully, Sony Santa Monica have responded, giving us details on their future plans for the franchise.
Sony Santa Monica's Aaron Kaufman explained a little about God of War remasters in a new blog post on the PlayStation blog. "Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play God of War 3 5 years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4."
"People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we'd like as many PlayStation

According to new rumors, we can expect to see a very large new firmware update for the PlayStation 4 in March that will bring a range of new features to the system. The main source of these rumors comes from industry insider, Tidux, who has been well known to get his rumors right.
According to Tidux, the new firmware update will hit at the end of March, on or around the 29th of the month. Unfortunately, Tidux did not mention what new features will be released, other than "big features" are coming.
It is a shame Tidux could not go into more detail, so we can only speculate about what features could be released at the end of this month. There are still many features that are missing from the PlayStation 4 that could be added, and there are probably many more that Sony want to add that we've never heard of as well.
Some believe the new update could include the suspend/resume feature that was previously announced to release to combat the lack of DLNA on the PlayStation

The Mortal Kombat franchise has always put a lot of thought and development into the stories of each of the characters, so when announcing brand new characters, you can bet NetherRealm Studios will make a big deal out of it.
