ps4 firmware updateAccording to new rumors, we can expect to see a very large new firmware update for the PlayStation 4 in March that will bring a range of new features to the system. The main source of these rumors comes from industry insider, Tidux, who has been well known to get his rumors right.

According to Tidux, the new firmware update will hit at the end of March, on or around the 29th of the month. Unfortunately, Tidux did not mention what new features will be released, other than "big features" are coming.

It is a shame Tidux could not go into more detail, so we can only speculate about what features could be released at the end of this month. There are still many features that are missing from the PlayStation 4 that could be added, and there are probably many more that Sony want to add that we've never heard of as well.

Some believe the new update could include the suspend/resume feature that was previously announced to release to combat the lack of DLNA on the PlayStation 4. Others suggest we could see a range of smaller features such as the ability to better organize and manage system files, songs and more content on the PS4 hard drive.

Whatever happens, it looks like we'll have to do a little bit of waiting before full details are announced by Sony. Hopefully we will receive some information from them before the end of March.
