advanced warfare bug patchLike many games in the franchise before it, the launch of Advanced Warfare has been filled with complaints from angry players who just can't play through the game without dealing with some kind of lag.

Whilst Sledgehammer Games are working round the clock to iron out all of the issues that currently plague AW, there's no doubt that the game is less enjoyable than it should be right now because of all the problems. We have listed the most complained about issues below.

Bad Hit Detection

This seems to be a problem that is directly correlated with the issue listed below. Bad hit detection in Advanced Warfare will make it difficult for players to land hits at some points in the game, especially when the host of the server has a particularly bad connection.

This is something Sledgehammer are working on, but it may be a few weeks before the hit detection problems are solved.

No Dedicated Servers

It seems all developers are opting for dedicated servers on their online games now, but Activision is still a little behind with Call of Duty. So far, Advanced Warfare is on a peer-to-peer network, which means you will be matchmade into a game that is hosted by another player. This will cause all sorts of connection issues, but Sledgehammer have promised dedicated servers in the future.

Frame Lag, Especially at Game Start

This seems to be an issue that is largely present on PC, but some console players have complained about it as well. Frame lag seems to be a current issue, especially at the start of a new multiplayer game.

Sledgehammer should be working on this shortly, but it's not definite that they will be able to fix the problem completely.
