Battlefield 4 Double EXP

To say sorry for all of the problems since the launch of the game on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3, DICE manager Karl Magnus Troedssen has announced that all players will be offered double EXP for a whole week for all of the games they play within the double EXP week period.

The week will start on November 28th and will end on December 5th, and although it hasn't been confirmed yet, we assume this will apply to all consoles, including the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

On top of the double EXP, players who play the game on December 5th will receive an exclusive weapon. Karl Magnus Troedssen said "On December 5 we will give all players that log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer a M1911 pistol scope," said Troedsson. "This special sidearm scope, previously reserved for our DICE developers, has a 3X zoom and is available for all classes in Battlefield 4." To receive the gun, players will only have to log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer with their EA account or console gamer profile.

Whilst a lot of players have complained about terrible server latency, EXP loss, corrupted save data, among other issues, DICE have announced that they are working around the clock to smooth out as many issues as possible, and Karl has confirmed that everyone working at DICE is currently working together to fix all of the current launch problems.

A hotfix patch was released last Friday to resolve some server problems, and a patch was released on Monday 25th,  so things are slowly getting worked through.
