Isn't it just wonderful when a leak forces the publishers to reveal their true intentions? I am talking about the GameStop leak regarding the special editions for Black Ops 2. Just hours after the "rumored" leak, Activision came forth to reveal the official details.

This time around PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to get our hands on the Hardened Edition and the Care Package which is going to be replacing the usual Prestige Edition. PC gamers on the other hand will have access to a special Deluxe Edition.

The Care Package will be available at a retail price of $179.99 and will contain:

-Retail copy of the game
-Limited Edition Steel Book case featuring exclusive artwork
-A remote controlled MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone
-Zombies Bonus Map - Nuketown
-Multiplayer Bonus Map - Nuketown 2025
-Limited Edition Challenge Coins - grants you access to exclusive DLC
-Exclusive Weapon Camos and Player Card Backgrounds
-Digital Copy of Black Ops 2's Official Sound Track

Xbox 360 owners will also be getting an Xbox LIVE CLAW Avatar Prop and Xbox Live Zombies Avatar Costume. PS3 owners on the other hand will be receiving two dynamic themes instead, a dynamic theme of the multiplayer map Turbine and a dynamic Zombies theme.

The Hardened Edition will be retailed at a price of $79.99 and will include:

-Retail copy of the game
-Limited Edition Steel Book case featuring exclusive artwork
-Zombies Bonus Map - Nuketown
-Multiplayer Bonus Map - Nuketown 2025
-Limited Edition Challenge Coins
-Digital Copy of Black Ops 2's Official Sound Track
-Exclusive Weapon Camos and Player Card Backgrounds
-And, Xbox LIVE CLAW Avatar Prop and Xbox Live Zombies Avatar Costume for Xbox 30 and afore mentioned dynamic themes for PS3 users.

So in essence, the Hardened Edition and Care Package offer you the same exact things except that for an additional charge of $100, Care Package gives you the remote controlled MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone.

All the versions are currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com so make up your mind and get the one you want fast! Black Ops 2 is currently set to be launched worldwide on the 13th of November 2012 for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.

If you haven't ordered an Evil Controller yet, be sure to do so before the release. With our game specific mods and our Adjustable Rapid Fire, there is a high probability that our modded controllers will work on day 1 for Black Ops 2.
