Hey there Borderland fans! Are you guys ready to dive back into the crazy world of Borderlands once more? Either way 2K Games has revealed recently (30th of August to be exact) that they will be releasing FOUR new add-on campaigns for Borderland 2 upon the game's launch, no doubt to get us all in the mood for some mayhem.

These additional DLC are expected to not only significantly increase the overall gameplay time (each add-on adding several hours) of Borderlands 2 but will also incorporate new missions, environments, enemies and allies to the game.

2K Games has also been kind enough to reveal the retail price for these add-ons. For PC and  PS3 (PSN/SEN) the DLC will be available at $9.99 per add-on. As for Xbox 360, the DLC will be available on Xbox LIVE for 800 Microsoft Points per add-on.

But if you are planning on getting ALL of the DLC anyways then it would be a much better idea to just get the Borderlands 2 Season Pass which will be available for purchase on the 18th of September 2012. The Season Pass grants players instant access to ALL FOUR DLCs upon their release and also for a much cheaper price.

The Season Pass is priced at $29.99 for PS3 and PC, and for 2400 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 (Xbox LIVE). So this basically means that for just $30 you get all of the DLC worth $40 (25% discount!). The DLCs for Borderlands 2 are currently set to be available by June of 2013, about 7 months after the launch of the game (18th September 2012); talk about future planning!

That's not all for Borderlands 2. Players who pre-order Borderlands 2 from specific retailers will also get access to the Bordelands 2 Premier Club. Joining the club gives gamers access to several downloadable in-game bonuses which include:

Golden Key - used to unlock the Golden Loot Chest located in the town of Santuary to gain access to a rare in-game item
Gearbox Gun Pack - a set of unique guns that will be extremely handy when starting your adventure
The Vault Hunter's Relic - in-game item which increases players' chances of finding new gear during solo campaign or co-op
The Mechromancer - a brand new fifth character class which will otherwise be available for purchase on a later date for those who don't pre-order Borderlands 2.

If you are fan of Borderlands and are definitely going to get Borderlands 2, then this is your chance to make up your mind about what you want and when you want to get it. Borderlands 2 is currently set to be launched for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on the 28th of September 2012.
