world at war 2It's always best to be a little skeptical at this time of the year. Around this time, we usually start to hear a thing or two about the next Call of Duty game, but across multiple development teams, it's easy for false information to start circulating.

With that being said, a current rumor spreading across the internet suggests that the next Call of Duty game will be a sequel to the original World at War. Before we get into the likelihood of such a thing happening or not, I just have to say that a world war game would be an incredibly refreshing change, and I'd absolutely love to see such a game reach the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

In reality though, we can't quite be sure if World at War will be the next Call of Duty game or not. The leak comes from a fairly unreputable source on Twitter. Despite this, it has caused quite a big stir up in the community, and the same leaker has posted similar 'Call of Duty leaks' in the past.

The trouble is that another insider has denied that such a game will ever come to light, especially not this year. But it's hard to know who to trust - the real industry insider, who may or may not be trying to keep things under wraps, or the fairly unknown leaker who suggests the next game will indeed by World at War 2?

All we can do is wait for more information. If the rumors are to be trusted, we'll find out more about World at War 2 in May this year.
