The new Destiny VIP rewards are now available for players to redeem in-game. Bungie previously announced which players will be rewarded with the VIP rewards and exactly what the rewards will be, but now they are finally available to Destiny's most veteran players.

As mentioned in the past, players must either have reached Light level 30 with one character or have purchased both The Dark Below and House of Wolves expansions before August 31, 2015 to be eligible for the VIP rewards.

Players will need to play The Taken King to redeem the VIP rewards as well, which means purchasing the latest $40 expansion. We wouldn't say the VIP rewards are worth purchasing The Taken King for, but if you already fit into the above criteria then the rewards are a nice addition.

Included in the Destiny VIP rewards is a unique armor shader, a sparrow and a player emblem. The Sparrow is called the S-34 Ravensteel and features a matte black color. I definitely think the Ravensteel is one of the best Sparrows available in Destiny.

Have you purchased the Taken King yet? If you haven't, you'll have till the end of February, 2016 to be eligible for the VIP rewards so don’t worry if you haven't yet decided whether you’d like to purchase The Taken King yet.

It should be mentioned that if you did not get to light level 30 or purchase both of the first two expansions before August 31, 2015, you will not be eligible for the Destiny VIP rewards.
