bloodborne expansion

The upcoming Bloodborne expansion that everybody has been talking about for so long has finally been unveiled and there's plenty of information about it to go along with the unveiling.

The unveiling took place at this year's Tokyo Game Show, where From Software announced the name of the expansion and what the expansion will include. From Software's Miyazaki also answered some questions about the expansion.

So, the new expansion has been named The Old Hunters, and it will be released this November for Bloodborne. The new expansion will feature three new areas, a bunch of new weapons and a new boss fight. Interestingly, one of the new weapons is the Bowblade, which will finally bring ranged combat into the world of Bloodborne.

You'll have to check out the trailer for The Old Hunters to see all of the other weapons which have been announced so far. None of the other weapons have had their names revealed yet, so it'll be exciting to learn more about them in the near future. One of the new bosses, Ludwig, is also seen in the trailer.

Players will also find that there will be more opportunities to use magic in The Old Hunters - this is certainly one area of combat that could have done with some love and From Software have delivered perfectly.

The Old Hunters will set players back $19.99 but unlike standard DLC packs, this one really will feel like a large expansion to the base Bloodborne game.
