Fallout 4 Details

Fallout's Pete Hines has taken to Twitter to answer a few questions from Fallout 4 fans. As a result, we've managed to learn a few things about romance options, Fallout 3 on the PlayStation 4, and more details about the wasteland.

One PlayStation 4 owner asked whether Fallout 3 was going to make it's way to the PS4. He asked this question because it was recently confirmed that Fallout 3 will soon be playable on the Xbox One. Pete Hines responded by saying that Bethesda haven't worked to put Fallout 3 on the Xbox One but instead have simply allowed Microsoft the rights to make Fallout 3 backwards compatible.

For that reason, if the PS4 were to be backwards compatible as well then players would also be able to play Fallout 3 on the PlayStation 4. As it stands right now, however, only the Xbox One can play Fallout 3 via the Xbox 360 version of the game.

Further through the week Pete Hines mentioned that players will not be able to build settlements anywhere within the Wasteland. There will be specific areas where building will be possible but outside of these areas  building will be prohibited. From a game mechanic standpoint, this makes sense. It would be potentially game breaking if players could build absolutely anywhere.

Another fan asked how players would be able to get in and out of the PowerSuit. Hines responded with, "you put it on/off by stepping in and out of it. The garage key art is a not-so-subtle hint as well."

Fallout 4 will be available on November 10, 2015.
