fallout 4 update 1.2

A new update for Fallout 4 has been developed and it is on it's way to both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. The new 1.2 patch for Fallout 4 is already available for the PC version of the game so we have a good insight into what the patch consists of.

For the most part, the new update just fixes some bugs and issues with Fallout 4. Whilst the PC version has had a couple of new interface features added to Fallout 4 in update 1.2, these changes won't be available on the console versions.

On top of general bug fixes, the focus of the 1.2 patch has been towards optimization, especially in areas that suffered from poor performance before the 1.2 patch. Below the full fixes that will be available in the 1.2 Fallout 4 patch have been listed.

Fixes

+ General memory and stability improvements

+ Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant

+ Optimizations to skinned decal rendering

+ Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals

+ Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions

+ Fixed issue with "When Freedom Calls" where the quest would not complete

+ During "Confidence Man" fixed issue where player's health would continuously regenerate

+ Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games

No estimate for the release date of the 1.2 patch on the PS4 and Xbox One has yet been released but it's likely to be available within the next two weeks.
